Who: Rikku and Apple Bloom
What: Apple Bloom is Rikku's new customization apprentice, and it's time for Rikku to start teaching! Oh boy.
When: Day 62
Where: Blonde Bombshells
Rating: PG. Max.
To say that Rikku was excited to have an apprentice (a real apprentice! Someone she could teach and look out for and watch get better at stuff!) would be a gross understatement. She was ecstatic to have one, and doubly so since Apple Bloom seemed to be a real sweetheart and eager to learn.
Kind of reminded Rikku of herself at that age.
She went around and got the things she was going to need for today--the short sword Gippal had made, her sketchpads, and the list of specifications for this sword's customizations (most of it looked like some sort of runes or something, but he needed a special grip as well). It was going to a pretty simple modification job, and a good one for Apple Bloom to start on.

Rikku pulled out her sketchbook and flipped to a sketch she'd done of a different sword. This one was super fancy.
"The customer wanted it all fancy like this, and most people don't mind if you jazz up their design," she said. "Just make sure the design stuff won't affect the balance of the sword."

Obviously, she had found the best teacher.

"Maybe ya' can ask around and see if somepony knows how to build this stuff?"
