(OPEN!) Nashi's first day out~

Who: Hanako (burntviolet), Hisao (seventeenpills), Nashi, and YOU!
What: They head to the Library again to search for pet books. Nashi, Hanako's new pet puppy, will follow along. Feel free to bother them~
When: Day 67, afternoon.
Where: Great Library, Odin district.
Rating: C for Cuteness overload??? But srsly tis a G story.



[Thanks to the help of the people in the network, Hanako could have some homemade dog food prepared, precious advices, a shiny collar with leash courtesy of Hibiki, and a name for her new pet puppy.

However, she thinks this is not enough to learn about keeping a dog, so she and Hisao decided to head for the Library again and research for some sort of "How to own a puppy for dummies" books they could borrow. That, and they also have to give back all the books they've read last time. Cool beans.

Because there seems to be no apparent policy against bringing animals in the Library, Hanako has taken the liberty to bring Nashi along. Right now she's sitting on a beanbag, book in her hands and another pile of volumes on the table nearby. She's still wearing the infamous hoodie that's covering her scars as best as possible, trying to ignore how crowded the place is at this time of the afternoon.

Nashi, in the meantime, is plopped on the floor at her owner's feet, with her eyes looking up at random, and her ears down. Hanako's just reprimanded her gently for trying to nibble on the beanbag.]

((OOC: You may go chat with either Hanako or Hisao individually, as they're in separate places in the library at the moment. Hisao mun will reply to this post later!

Euri will pointedly focus on Nashi, petting her ears some more.]

[Awkward pause.]

... I actually... n-never owned a pet, s-so I'm learning.

[Euri looks up again at that admission, this time spotting the books. Her eyes hover on them for a few moments, skimming over the titles.]

Huh. Hey, if you want some more suggestions for books I can give you some! There's one or two I liked that you don't seem to have.

[... She glances down at the book in her hands, then back at Euri.]

Um... s-sure, if you don't m-mind.

[She nods and stands.]

Okay! I'll go grab them! [And off she goes! She'll be a few minutes, but both books are checked in so she'll grab them off the shelf and eventually head back.]

[Hanako has waited quietly, deciding that reading that book was enough, so she's put it on the table. Now she's just sitting and fidgetting while looking at some spot on the floor, so intensely that she could blow a hole in it. Only Nashi's barking happily when Euri comes back throws her back to reality, making her startle on her seat.

She basically says nothing, only looking at the books in the other's hands.]

[Fortunately there won't be too much awkward silence as Euri will hold them out for her to take.]

These might be a little advanced since you're just starting out, but there's some really good information in them.

[The stuttering is getting her attention. Oh, huh, shyness?]

Nice to meet you too! If you've got any questions about dogs feel free to ask, I know a lot about them.

Hm... I w-will keep it in mind, Euri-san.

[Oh it's more than shyness- indeed she's starting to feel anxious, but the introductions are out of the way, so it's a good thing to her. /o/]

[She nods. The shyness is making her a little self-conscious, so she rubs the back of her head.]
