[ Exploring would probably be the smart thing to do. Gai suggested they should go explore together and Shu follows his orders most of the time. They weren't in Funeral Parlor anymore, but they were still doing this sort of thing. It was kind of refreshing for him. As for Gai, Shu didn't want to be stuck with him again so he had contacted Ange prior. With all the times he's pestered her over simple things, he wondered if she's bothered by his persistence. He never really knew what she's thinking even though he should know her by now. The fact that she had agreed to come along made him happy, but he can't keep bugging her forever. Some day he's going to have to figure out how to do things on his own.

As he walked towards the designated meeting place he couldn't help but worry about Inori and Yozora. Yozora's been missing for a few days and Inori might get lonely. That goes without saying Shu's walking pace was extremely slow. He'd probably arrive there twenty or thirty minutes late without realizing it. ]

[Meanwhile, Gai will just be resisting as best he can, grey eyes locked on her in an unblinking stare. No, is mind isn't like Shu's at all; it will be much harder to bend to her will, if she's even able to do it at all. He certainly doesn't plan on letting her if he can help it.

So he'll just stand there, the faintest hint of a smirk playing at the corner of his lips while their minds do battle. It's definitely somewhat of a struggle on his part - her powers are pretty strong - but damned if he's going to cave.]

[ See, normally they would be evenly matched since few people have a mind as stubborn as Ange's, but.. in a fit of not caring (as usual, this happens more often) she skipped breakfast this morning since she didn't feel like it. So right now she's actually weaker than him - even if she doesn't exactly realise it. In fact, she doesn't realise the fact that the lack of food might have made her a little weaker until she suddenly feels something in her own body snap at the pressure of using her power too much while she's like this and her legs give out under her - making her fall forward onto the ground, maybe not even conscious for a moment by the looks of it. Don't worry, she'll get back around soon enough. ]

[Fortunately for Shu, Gai will be rather unceremoniously depositing him on the ground before striding over to check on Ange and make sure she's all right. Interesting... is this what happens when someone tries to use body-controlling powers on someone who fights back? Definitely knowledge that might come in handy.

He just kneels beside her to check her pulse, and once he's satisfied that it's steady, he shakes his head.]

You're just as bad as he is.

[Oh the hypocrisy.]

[Finally. Some dirt made it's way onto Shu's clothes. He'll give himself a minute to wipe them off and take a glance at Ange. Then turning back to Gai to give him a firm stare.]

What did you do?

[He should probably take action here or Ange might get hurt. Healing might come in handy if she doesn't wake up on time.]

[entreats]

[ You two just argue, okay. Ange will just be lying here out cold for a bit longer. ]

[voidseeing]

[Gai just stares right back, expression clearly annoyed.]

I didn't do anything to her. She was the one who was trying to control me; all I did was resist.

[departing]

That's no reason to make her pass out like that.

[Staring at Ange's corpse unconscious body laying there on the floor.]

[entreats]

[ Wow, rude, she's not dead. Just unconscious. No burgers here. ]

[voidseeing]

[Ignoring Shu and giving Ange a quick shake here.]

Gai.

Are you listening to me?

[ okay, okay, regaining consciousness just slightly at that shake, give her a moment to 'nngh' and open her eyes juuust a little since it's difficult to look in against this sun..

... What happened? Ah, shit.. she passed out, didn't she? ]

[voidseeing]

[That's enough to get Gai to sit back on his heels with a smirk.]

So you are still alive. Good, that means Shu can stop making a fuss.

I'm not making a fuss.

[entreats]

Did I look that dead to you?

[ At least she recovers her deadpan fairly quickly, even as she's brushing her bangs out of her eyes and sitting up to glance at the two of them. Wait, was Shu really making a fuss..? ]

And I'm fine. I should've gotten breakfast this morning, I guess. [ a shrug, as if it doesn't even mean much. ]

[voidseeing]

[Since she's alive and talking, he's just going to stand back up and look over at Shu, decidedly unimpressed. You were too making a fuss. 8|]

We'll stop here for a while. I don't want anyone else collapsing for any reason-- we might not be so lucky as to be alone when it happens the next time.

[departing]

Now you want to stop...

[Gai you've managed to make him bitter. HE SUGGESTED THAT EARLIER GOSH.]

[entreats]

It's not like I collapsed randomly.

[ Protesting from the ground since she doesn't want to be seen as weak, really. ]

[voidseeing]

We're still stopping.

[And his tone of voice leaves no room for arguments, so you'd better not try punching him again, Shu.]

What was all of that about speeding up?

[Also because you didn't listen to him earlier and he's bitter so he's making himself hard to deal with.]

[entreats]

Shu, just let him, okay? That guy is probably too stubborn to change his mind either way.

[ And Ange doesn't feel like wasting effort on it, honestly.. ]

[voidseeing]

[Gai won't even be responding to this ridiculousness. 8| Instead, he just plops down beneath a tree, though his hand doesn't stray far from his gun. He may seem relaxed, but it's clear he's still on guard.]

[Unlike the other two, Shu still has almost all of his energy reserves in tact. It's awkward for him so he'll step away for a while B(

[ Ange is mostly just trying to regain her dignity and energy, but she can't help but notice Shu sneaking off.. ]

Shu, don't go alone. [ although she doubts Gai would let him either way. ]

[That's all he's going to say about that, but with his current tone of voice, that's all he NEEDS to say.]
