He'd actually been a little surprised when he got the ping over his bracelet. He'd kind of expected her not to, even though they had agreed on it, if quite informally. She had just seemed sort of shy and like she might enjoy her own company more, and frankly? As was Hisao's way he was sort of second guessing his previous approach to the situation and thinking he might have been a little overbearing. Still, she had contacted him and they had organized a time and place to meet up.

And here he was, in the Sigyn kitchens, preparing the ingredients he knew they were going to need. He'd lent her the cook book but had copied some of the recipes down with good old fashioned pen and paper.

"Ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, salt and pepper..." There were some other, fancier ingredients on standby if she wanted to try those. (Well, fancy by his standards. He couldn't quite work out how to pronounce Worcestershire sauce so it must be really super fancy, right?). That and the various vegetables and cheeses and buns available in the kitchen. He'd even found an apron to protect his sweatervest from food related harm.

So, he had everything they needed except his parttner in crime. He looked at his wrist out of habit even though he had no watch on, and then settled for pouring himself some juice.

"I'll admit, I don't know much of anything about the arena being I don't really fight myself. For obvious reasons. But I don't see why you couldn't train alone there, so long as no-one else was using it. People probably aren't using it twenty four-seven, after all."

He smiled. She seemed a little more at ease at least.

"And as for your hobbies, what are they? Because there's lots of people who might be able to help with materials - I might even know someone who could. Everyone I've met here so far has been really nice, and lots of them have hobbies they are able to practise too."

Like Himari who was sewing things for people and Inoue who was going to teach him how to cook curry. If it was something simple, he was sure he could help her make some connections.
