[Look down. Now back up! Where are you? You're in the Castle Plaza, with the Gods your Gods could God like.

[Lively, pleasant music hangs in the air around you as fireworks explode in the sky above. There is a tempting aroma teasing at your nostrils. Where is it coming from? Those long tables at the center of the plaza, overflowing with food you love. Craving anything from home? You'll be sure to find it there.

[Look around you. What do you see? Carnival games. Hundreds of Carnival games, including a dunk tank, and all for free! Carnival games not your thing? Why not give the dance floor a try? That music is awfully catchy, and just look at all those stunning lights!

[Enjoy yourselves, travelers. A New Year is upon us.]

[Natsuhi couldn't help but feel a conflicting mixture of emotions when she hears Shannon's voice and turns to face her. She knew Shannon had to have helped that man plant the card for her favorite season in her room. Aiding someone who would kidnap Krauss and murder Jessica wasn't something she could forgive. Yet, it was still somewhat comforting to see another familiar face from home here. And with time being as strange as it was here, perhaps this Shannon hadn't even betrayed her yet. In any case, any member of the Ushiromiya household who ended up here was still her responsibility to watch over.

Oh is that so? Mm... have you met any of the others? I haven't really been here too long, has anything important happened? They placed me at the Freyr house, I believe.

I have, though the gods have made more of a muddle of things than necessary. Battler-kun is here, and Ange-chan, though she won't be the age you remember her being. There is a man who's acting as a bodyguard to Ange as well. And other than the fact that more people continue to be brought here, nothing of major significance has happened yet. I was placed in the Freya house, which I believe is in one of the districts next to the Freyr district.

You obviously needn't carry out the duties you had back on Rokkenjima, but do remember your position as a member of the Ushiromiya household and comport yourself appropriately. And if you end up in a situation you can't handle alone, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance from me or one of the other members of the Ushiromiya family. Having ended up in such an odd place, we should all work together to protect each other and return home when we can.
