[Lively, pleasant music hangs in the air around you as fireworks explode in the sky above. There is a tempting aroma teasing at your nostrils. Where is it coming from? Those long tables at the center of the plaza, overflowing with food you love. Craving anything from home? You'll be sure to find it there.

[Look around you. What do you see? Carnival games. Hundreds of Carnival games, including a dunk tank, and all for free! Carnival games not your thing? Why not give the dance floor a try? That music is awfully catchy, and just look at all those stunning lights!

We sure did have some super powers! They don't work here, sucks, but as long as there aren't lots of monsters and the gods are on our side, it ain't so bad.

Well, it's called Persona. We can manifest, like, our subconscious clear into the real world in the forms of other gods and things, and they fight for us. It's all really awesome.

Uh huh. Sounds nuts, I know, but it's true. Someone's Persona is their inner power made into outer power. Don't ask me how it works, I don't even know, there's gods involved. Mine is Susano-o, and we've also got Amaterasu and Izanagi and... lots.

Kind of. Izanami herself gave our leader his, and a couple others, as part of some test. The rest of us had to earn ours.

Anyone, technically. The process to get one isn't very fun, though. And it can be fatal.
