NEW YEARS EVE FESTIVAL LOG (WOW GUYS, THIS TOTALLY ISN'T LATE OR ANYTHING...)
Who: Everyone!
What: New Years Eve! WUTWUT.
When: Err...New Years Eve. Wut...wut? (December 31st, Day 14, etc.)
Where: The Castle Plaza
Rating: Worksafe. If this changes, PLEASE INFORM THE MODS.
[Look down. Now back up! Where are you? You're in the Castle Plaza, with the Gods your Gods could God like.
[Lively, pleasant music hangs in the air around you as fireworks explode in the sky above. There is a tempting aroma teasing at your nostrils. Where is it coming from? Those long tables at the center of the plaza, overflowing with food you love. Craving anything from home? You'll be sure to find it there.
[Look around you. What do you see? Carnival games. Hundreds of Carnival games, including a dunk tank, and all for free! Carnival games not your thing? Why not give the dance floor a try? That music is awfully catchy, and just look at all those stunning lights!
[Enjoy yourselves, travelers. A New Year is upon us.]

I AM SO LATE I hope you don't mind?
What'th the fucking point of all thith?
[It's not really addressed to her. But he's glaring at the pond, so it's sort of a rhetorical open-ended thing.]
not at all! <3 is he wearing his glasses, or can she see his weird eyes?
The party itself, you mean? [He could mean the duck pond, after all.]
He's got his glasses but they're visible, since I imagine he's tall and looking down, probably?

Well, the festival is for New Years, I think. We always had one back home. And this game, it's just a simpler one than the others for kids - you choose a duck and flip it over, and it tells you if you got a small, medium or large prize.

[This seems so deceptively simple. There is not way it is so uncomplicated, even for wigglers.]

[She feels a bit silly for hanging around it now, though, now that he's pointed out how simple it is. Of course she wasn't going to play or anything.]
I was just curious about it, that's all. I'd never seen this game before.
no subject
Bet I can do better than you.
[He's been so bored. Even if this is a dumb game, it'd be nice to play something.]
no subject
It's a game of chance. How can you even know you'll do better?

Told you tho.

Well. You win.

- oh. [She takes hold of the prize just to keep it from falling to the ground, blushing a little.] You don't have to give it to me. You won, fair and square.

Well... thank you.
