Who: Ranka and whoever she runs into!
What: Exploring and maybe doing some singing on request!
When: Monday
Where: Various places
Rating: PG or so? I doubt anything really weird is going to happen, lol.
It hadn't been that long since Ranka had started to explore more and more. Even with making friends, she hadn't really done much even if she had wanted to. Everyone had their own people to take care of, and she understood that. She had heard that Sheryl had been there, but she had never found her, however that hadn't meant she'd never been there. It had been a major let down though, especially after everything that had happened back home.
Smoothing her hands over her skirt, she hummed to herself as she walked along. The longer she walked, the louder her humming got until she started to sing quietly to herself. The song was one she had sung a lot. Aimo was a song she knew that had more importance now than ever. It was something she cherished, and while others wouldn't understand it. She did and that was more than enough.
Being a performer she was still shyer about belting things out. After all things were still fresh to her.
Stopping to take in a breath, she paused stopping mid song to stare at some of the colorless scenery. "How sad..."

Um, hey! Why did you stop? That was a nice song you were singing there.
no subject
Ah! I was just looking around, and I guess when I saw how things were here, it just made me stop for a moment.
I didn't realize anyone was listening to me. I hope I wasn't bothering you.
no subject
Although... I don't think I've ever heard of a song like that before.

[She takes a few steps forward to properly meet Utena. She's curious about the other and she clasps her hands behind her back leaning forward as she studies her for a second. Her smile gets bigger as she leans back and bows her head politely.]
Thank you, I've really missed singing, and I feel out of practice. I'm Ranka Lee, what's your name?

[ Seated a few feet away on a bench, Jr. follows Ranka's gaze, studying the scenery blandly. Sighing quietly, he stands and rolls his shoulders, stretching. ]
No reason to stop singing though. It was awfully pretty.
no subject
Ah, thanks. I guess I did say I'd sing a song for you in return for you playing the harmonica. Though, I guess I wasn't really expecting to give you my thanks like this.
no subject
I would have told you earlier that no thanks would be necessary, but having heard you sing, I'd be eating my words right now, heh. Where'd you pick up that song?
no subject
It's a very special song for an alien race to come together to find their mates. At least that's what I remember now, before I just knew the song and sang it.

[Turning sharply she hears a familiar voice, her hair moving up at the recognition and at her surprise. Ranka stares at Eyes, and then smiles after a moment.]
No, I guess I just got carried away. I tend to do things without thinking sometimes.
no subject
For how long have you been wandering?
no subject
You're right, I'm sorry. I'll try to be more careful.
[When asked how long she had been wandering, Ranka thought about it for a while and shook her head as she hid her hands behind her back.]
Not really sure, there are so many things to see that it's easy to lose track of time.

"So throw a bucket of paint on it or something." He decided, what the hell, and shuffled over towards her a little, looking at it.

Lifting herself onto her tippy toes, Ranka clasped her hands behind her back, her eyes shutting for a moment. How would she approach this person?
"So, are you getting along okay?"

He had said all he cared to say on helping and their roles in it. And while the initial rage at being torn away from Leanne, from Vashyron...from being thrust into another game by the Gods, while that rage had subsided, he was not without bitterness towards people that truly cared to play along with this game.
"Could be better, could be worse I guess." He offered, shrugging as he took a few more steps towards where things turned lifeless, looking it over.

Just like hers tended to be. Ranka turned to study the scenery herself, and she felt a little crestfallen as she sighed. Instead of letting herself become pessimistic she motioned towards the colorless places.
"What do you think this place is like with color. I bet it'll bet it'll be beautiful."

he followed her gaze, nodding in agreement as he realized what she meant. ]
It is pretty dreary, isn't it?
no subject
Hey...
[Stopping to look around them once again, her smile fell a little as she nodded.]
It's hard to see it like this. I really want to help.
no subject
[ he pauses, noticing the drop in her expression. it's understandable, though at the same time it's still a bit tough to see her so disheartened. ]
But since everything is dark... you should be bright to balance it out.
[ he does his best to smile himself though... he's clearly trying to hard as his expression looks quite forced. ]
no subject
That doesn't mean I have to be bright on my own. Everyone is bright in their own way.
[Turning away, Ranka looks around them and she nods with a sort of finality. It doesn't take her long to face him again as she smiles. This isn't going to defeat her good attitude about trying to help!]
Even by running into each other, every little bit helps. Right?

He heard a song he's never heard before but he thought it was beautiful in a strange way. Shu felt concerned for Ranka's well being so he decided to adress the other female.]
Sad? What is?
no subject
It's a song from home. How are you doing Shu?
[Moving towards him, she grabbed one of his hands squeezing it as she stepped back and let their hands fall apart.]
Ah, sorry. I was excited to see someone a little more familiar.
no subject
I'm doing okay, Ranka.
[He's being less formal with her now. Formalities have been abandoned.
Ranka's smile sort of makes him feel happy too. ]
Mhmm. The same goes for me as well.
How have you been doing?
[He still feels kind of bad because they couldn't find her brother.
At least Ranka's safe still.]
no subject
I'm okay. Thank you for asking.
[Almost as if she was afraid he would think she ignored his first question her eyes popped up and caught his attention.]
The song is Aimo! It's a song from back home.

Maybe more songs like that one will help bring a little bit of it back. Music is important at times like these.
