What: A late onset (or singling out) of a de-aging curse. Vanitas will be his newly created self for the next few, in-game days, and will have no memory of his previous life.
When: Day 128.
Where: Hel and later Gefion Park.
Rating: G or PG, probably no more than that.



[Scenario One: Morning in Hel. There's a kid decked out in the weirdest spiderman costume ever, complete with helmet, prowling around the lower hallways. He looks like he could be lost, and when he spots the nearest inhabitant (lucky you if you happen to be just stumbling out of your room from sleep), expect to be accosted with questions.

"Who are you, and where am I?"]

[Scenario Two: Sometime after lunch, the masked boy has managed to wander out to Gefion Park. His attention's been caught by some geese... or actually, accosted, after he'd accidentally walked over their nesting site by the pond. And they seem to be intent on driving him as far away as possible by flapping their wings and nipping at his back as he tries to escape. Little help?]

You should at least take the helmet off! You look suspicious with it on.

[He shakes his head, and takes a few more steps away.]

Not gonna happen.

[So skittish!] Why not?

I don't think anyone here is going to be hitting you over the head.

It manifested with me. All of it did.

... Oh! [Thankfully he's sort of explained how he was created, so that makes sense.]

But you can still take it off, right?

Doesn't mean I have to.

But don't you want to?

[showmeanguish]

[He shakes his head.] The fact that I'm even here's revealing too much. Why would I make that worse?

Because it won't make things worse! You're being way too paranoid.

You're not being paranoid enough.

[But she doesn't have a reason to be. She doesn't know, and he's not going to tell her upon just the first meeting.]

I've been here a few months. It's called adapting.

[Gosh so dismissive.]

Hmmm... hey, if you take your helmet off I'll show you an interesting place here. And don't worry, it's the total opposite of dangerous.

[Still suspicious, and not entirely sure if she can be trusted even if she seems harmless.

For a second he doesn't say anything to that, thinking. And he's come up with a question that should put some of his paranoia to rest, depending on her answer.]

When you knew me before, did I wear it?

[occulthymns]

Nope! [She doesn't hesitate as she shakes her head.] I've never seen it before, actually.

[showmeanguish]

[He still isn't completely sure, or why he's inclined to even believe that she knows him. Maybe the charm has something to do with it.

But afterward, he reaches up and slowly pulls the helmet off, tucking it beneath one arm. His face is much younger, but coloring's still the same as he looks up at her.]

[Aww, he looks like data!Sora! She'll grin at him good-naturedly as she steps forward to try and ruffle his hair - if he won't move back again.]

Better.~ That helmet would've gotten way too hot.

[And in response to her smile, he blinks. He's supposed to smile back... isn't he? For a second, a small, fleeting smile appears.

--Until she touches him. Instantly, it turns to a frown, if not an obvious cringe.]

Yeah, yeah. So what's this 'interesting place'?

[Don't think she didn't catch that!! But she'll just spin around, waving for him to follow.]

[He just rolls his eyes slightly, wondering what he's getting himself into. But he'll definitely follow behind her.]
