What: Lilly is gone. Hanako doesn't take it very well, and tries to cope with the loss by going to the places she likes.

[ A - Gefion Park ]

[ It was nothing short of a horrible week for Hanako, just like it was probably for most people. But what hurt her the most was the notice that her best friend Lilly was missing from her room. One morning she headed there as usual to help her get ready for breakfast, and all her things, along with her own person, were nowhere to be found. The "Contact Not Found" sign on her bracelet was the ultimate confirmation that Lilly was no longer in Asgard. It hit Hanako harder than it should have, considering that now she's sure her friend was safe from the danger that lies here. Her company, although short-living, did help her emotionally during the Darkness attacks. She would have possibly broken down otherwise.

She's going to spend most of the morning in the park, sitting on the grass by the lake. Nashi's been left in the House. Hanako wanted to be alone while brooding. It doesn't look like she had a great sleep lately, either, looking at the clear bags under her eyes. ]

[ B - Great Library ]

[ Towards the afternoon, Hanako can be found at the library, sitting on her usual beanbag and mindlessly flipping through the pages of a random book she picked up. She's not reading it, though... her mind is wandering to other, unpleasant places where it shouldn't be. Not even her most favourite hobby is helping her. ]

[ A-ah... she didn't even pay attention to the cover when she picked up this random book. She turns it in her hands to quickly look at it. ]

The Time Keeper.

[Oh, she notices this, and realizes this girl was probably troubled by something... But she doesn't seem willing to reveal what it is that she's troubled by at all...]

Mitch Albom's, is it? [she studies the book cover for a moment as well, crouching a little to do that.] I don't think I've heard of the writer's name before.

I think I... read some of his other works, before.

[ She can't bring herself to remember. Too many books, so little care given about them right now. ]

I guess his books just weren't translated just yet back home! It's amazing, isn't it? That we can read books from so many different languages here. [well, a bit of a conversation seems fine for now, unless Eru finds herself not welcome.]

It is... weird, but the fact we have an universal language even if we all have different nationalities, and we can read anything we wanted here without language barriers, is in itself very handy. [ And convenient. ]

It is! I never thought that I'd be able to read the many intriguing English books out there until I came here! [Although she's always been fairly good with the language even before she had arrived.]

Many books that would be otherwise of many different languages, can be read here without a problem. It's definitely one of the things I like about this place...

It is too, for me. There's also so many different people we could never have spoken to properly because of the language barrier back home... It really is a nice place to be.

... I would like to stay here, if not for the fact the gods here are less than trustworthy... and there is a war going on. [ Her tone is bitter, and also her expression turns more sour than earlier. ]

That's true, but thinking about the negative things won't help us at all, fnot if we can't do anything about it. Why not count our blessings while we can?

[ Not the kind of mindset she could ever get into, no matter what. ] I am not fond of thinking positively when tragedies happen before my eyes, Chitanda-san.

Tragedies? [Guess who's entirely ignorant of what had happened before?] What happened?

[She hadn't imagined the war had already begun to wage, not when it was so peaceful most of the time (she had turned grey for the duration of the Darkness event)]

... There was an attack to the city a week ago. Have you witnessed it?

There was? That's strange... [But, well... She did notice that time seemed to have skipped a little over a few days back there.] Maybe I was asleep through the whole thing.

You... fell asleep? How did you-- [ A little suspect pops in her mind. ]

Have you... woken up somewhere other than your house room?

Oh, yes. I was in the Folkvang Comfort House when I woke up, actually. [at that point, she had only thought the difference in date was simply her own imagination, considering she was still getting used to the system here.]

You don't remember anything prior to your awakening? It's important to know.

Mm... I don't think so. I do remember having had a dream about being at home, though...

Ah... did you lose your bracelet lately? If that's the case, then it means you caught the grey illness...

Grey illness...? I did remember taking the bracelet off before taking a shower, but does this grey illness set in so easily?

It does happen when you keep the bracelet away from you for too long of a time. You should always have it on your wrist at all times- at least, keep it close to you.

Ahh, okay. I never thought something like that would happen at all! So... How did I recover from this illness?

The people who found you must have retrieved your bracelet and put it back on you.

Ohh... I see! That must have been the nice people from the Folkvang Comfort House then! To think I hadn't thanked them for helping me... [ meanwhile making a mental note to go thank them soon ]
