Who: Nick and Euridice Taverna
What: Going to get good alcohol and getting drunk like the classy people they are. Also maybe kissing.
When: Day 165
Where: In some awesome bar somewhere in Asgard after meeting in Gefion Park
Rating: PG-13 just to be safe, because Nick is Nick.
[If there's one thing that Nick prizes, one thing invented by human beings which he actually likes, it's alcohol. There's nothing like having your head spin with dazed euphoria, not having to worry about any worries or nagging doubts that hung on after a long day.]
[But the problem is, he's picky. He won't just have any regular alcohol. No, he wants the best, something that will really hit home. He hates this place, he hates numerous people in it, and he wants something that will make him forget about all of that for a good amount of hours. Problem is, he's too lazy to go and find the bar by himself.]
[So, he waits for Euri, hands in his pockets, glaring occasionally at a grey-faced local passing by. He needs his alcohol, and he needed it yesterday. Yeah, sure, he would have to buy drinks for her too, but that was a small price to pay for knowing about a good location to go to when he had enough of the people blabbering about wars and gods and the like.]
[Time to get smashingly drunk.]

[Oh, there we are! He looks towards where Euri is pointing and grins, walking up to the door before turning to her.]
So, you coming, Euri?
no subject
Why will they rip me to shreds?
no subject
Because it's one of the big things they like to protect. They have heated arguments about it quite often. As in, what falls under the freedom and what doesn't. It's a whole lot of nonsense, if you ask me.
[And he finds a seat at the bar, ignoring all the looks of the patrons nearby- he dwarfs many of them by at least a foot, really.]
So! What's the best thing here, Euri? I like sweet and very alcoholic, don't mind the type of beverage it comes in.
no subject
Well, they have a lot of fancy drinks here. Stuff I've never heard of back home. I like the daiquiris and midori sour.
no subject
[And he waves the guy over, telling him what he wants before turning to Euri.]
Oh, right, you wanted alcohol too.
no subject
... I'll have a midori sour, too.
no subject
[And then the drinks are prepared- Nick takes a cautionary sip of the daiquiri.]
Oh, that's not too bad at all. I like the taste...
no subject
Back home it's just beer and wine, so these are a nice change.
no subject
[And a taste of that midori sour too, he gives a smack of the lips, tasting it, before deciding that yes, he likes it.]
Really, the only thing I can actually compliment humans on? Is their creativity with drinks. That's all.
no subject
They've got other good qualities.
no subject
[And he downs some of the daiquiri with a grimace.]
What sort of qualities are those? The way they reproduce like rabbits?

Really, now. Good for you, I keep meeting all the idiots.

[He sips more of the midori, feeling the pleasing effects of the alcohol start to work their way into his system.]
What can you do then? Is that magic even useful for anything?
no subject
Of course it is! It's great if you want to mess with people, or be destructive. It's got practical uses, too.
