[closed] maybe tonight i'll call ya
Who: Pyro and Oswin
eggsterminate
What: Drowning various sorrows from a paper-bagged bottle like classy bitches.
When: Night 210
Where: Gefion Park, away from the Mushroom House
Rating: PG-13 - adult discussions, including sex, pregnancy and death.
[He's back in the park with another bottle, out by the lake this time, staring across its frozen surface and, maybe oddly or maybe not, thinking about Bobby and Rogue.
The couple who could never have sex. Even foreplay posed a problem. Pyro always thought Bobby was the dumbest guy alive for hooking up with her - but then, he'll never have this problem, will he? He'll have some wicked cases of blue balls, but there's no getting so horny that he'll forget all about a goddamn condom and take the chance of getting her knocked up.
And as much of a pain in the ass as she could be, Rogue is hardly Euri.
He takes a long swallow - vodka this time, another 40 despite the mess he made of himself with the last one - and glares out at the expanse of ice. As much as he hates to admit it, Thor is right; the ice is a giant piss-off. Just let summer come already so he can skip all the reminders of home.]

[Another sigh, and he purses his lips in thought.]
So how do I get her back for it?
no subject
...No, no one with two brain cells to rub together would buy that one. [Leaning across him trying to grab the bottle back, not really caring about pressing against him anymore.]
no subject
Yeah, that's bad. It has to be something...
[Suddenly, a wicked smile curves his lips, and he stifles a bit of a laugh.]
What if I offer to do the right thing?
no subject
[She takes another drink, coughs, and shivers.]
But please if you do try that method, invite me. I need to see this go down.
no subject
[He jabs a finger in her face.] You've got no faith in me. I got a job after you basically said it was impossible, so why can't I do this?
no subject
I said unlikely. [A hiccup.] It better be a really good story for her to believe that. What happened to them?
no subject
She knows. That's the important thing.
no subject
[Oswin pulls her knees to her chest and wraps her arms around them.]
Better hope she really isn't pregnant.

[He's shifted beyond his oh-so-comforting thoughts of revenge, though, because of that one simple statement. Now he's back in that ugly miasma of feelings that rises up when he pushes past the rage at his parents and looks at what's beneath it.
No. All he needs is the rage. The rest of that can -
- but it'll really determine what he does if she is pregnant, won't it? Of course he doesn't want a fucking kid, at 18 years old or ever, but having one will challenge that pretty strongly. Because he's felt the sting of desertion, and he doesn't know if he could inflict it on a person that was half-him.]
Fuck. [He stands up, swaying a little, and walks closer to the lake.]
no subject
His past. His reaction. One doesn't have to be a girl genius to figure it out. Her voice is slightly gentle]
Hope is pretty fitting if you ask me. Especially since you don't seem the type to pray.
no subject
[Any other topic but his past. He doesn't need another smart-mouthed girl with that much dirt on him.]
no subject
If it comes to that, I'm a professional baby sitter so, don't quit that job.
[A hiccup, it's as supportive as she'll get when she's not entirely convinced of the situation.]
It'd be safe with me.
no subject
[He's almost back on form. Almost. There's still something a bit haunted about his gaze.]
She's just bullshitting me, anyway. She's probably on the pill or something... if she was really that freaked out about getting knocked up, she would've put the brakes on.
no subject
[Okay a part of her does think a baby to look after would be fun but... not Pyro's.]
That's the most likely answer.
no subject
Are all girls this nuts, or just the ones I end up being around?
no subject
[STARES AT HIM.]
no subject
Hey, don't lump me in with you guys. Like I said, at least I'm straightforward.
no subject
[A drunken snort.]
I'm plenty straightforward. Too straight forward.
no subject
[He doesn't look resentful, though - with the alcohol running through his system, he looks almost admiring.
Yeah, he can admire a properly devious mind, as long as it's not turned on him. The worst she's ever done to him is laugh a little, and that pissed him off, but it's nowhere near Euri level.]
no subject
[She turns to look at him and then laughs a little at his expression, flushing and tucking her hair behind her ears.]
Alright. Usually only for good.
no subject
[Oh, did he get a blush out of her? Even swaying slightly on his feet and staring through glazed eyes, he can manage to look insufferably cocky.]
If you weren't human, I'd take you back to my world. We could use another sexy, devious woman on our side.
no subject
[She leans against him. It's not really a bold move, she's just drunk and standing is getting increasingly difficult. Besides, she's not really concerned he'd hurt her at this point, he's also far too drug and preoccupied. Even if he is kind of a scumbag.]
I quite like being human, thanks. And not having any competition. I like being the singular sexy, devious girl.
no subject
[The contact surprises him a little, but he doesn't move away. Nor does he make a move - the spectre of Euri's maybe-imaginary pregnancy has put that out of his mind for the moment. He's a healthy teenage boy, though, so he does feel a full-body flush that makes him shiver a little.]
Nah, I think you'd like Mystique. [More smartass grinning.] She probably would show you up, though. Since she's blue and always naked.
no subject
[She notices him shiver, but chalks it up to the cold air they've both stupidly decided to endure in their quest to clear the minds. So she doesn't pull away and drops her head against his shoulder, feeling the heaviness in her head of being drunk.]
See what I mean? Can't compete with that. Even if I were naked, not going to go blue. Not my colour.
no subject
[Shaken out of his rant by her head on his shoulder, he laughs quietly and rests a hand on her head. Not affectionate, not stroking or petting, just - there.]
Still, you would make a good mutant. We need more people who don't take shit.
