[About the time that Kate might feel her energy start to wane, and her thoughts start to drift towards coffee, a mug of that very same beverage will be placed on her desk.

Hopefully she takes this as a sign of the thoughtfulness of her tiny boss, and not step two in Conan's plan to get people to relax when they see him at the coffee machine by leading them to assume that he makes the coffee for other people.]
