I'm sorry-! [It really was in Shinji's nature to apologize often, whether he was at fault or not. And apologizing again felt... appropriate, to him?

He felt the slightest sense of familiarity when he heard the girl's tone, though, despite flinching. It was not that different from Asuka yelling at him over something on any normal day.]

[ At this point, Shinji will both believe and question almost anything about this place. He will learn soon enough that this isn't Neo Tokyo-3; he didn't need to worry about that sort of thing happening there as much then he might in Asgard, it seems...
