[It’s a rare sight, to see Kaworu shopping, but he does shop. However, Kaworu’s choice of clothing is usually pretty much the same – same colors and same type of clothing – so it looks as if he just wears the same again and again.
Today, you can actually find him interested in other clothes. More colors, differing kinds.
And a terrible fashion sense.
Give the angel a hand? Or he will look like a clown. ]

hah. Too late, he was in trouble the moment that he walked in.Aw, Shinji''s a tad surprised you know what a fitting room is, Kaworu. But the pilot still nods. He's a tad curious; He spotted two different colored socks. What is this, Kaworu...?]
Yeah, it would... I think I saw it just that way. [ he points in a direction; the left of where they stood.
Why did he sound hesitant when he said that? It's just fitting rooms...]

Once there, he puts his clothes down and begins to unbutton his shirt - and doesn't really bother to close the curtain (Shame? What is shame?) ]

Well, this seems perfectly normal. So for that, Shinji was a little glad that was one less thing to explain to the angel-

Shinji spoke too soon, it seems.
He sputtered at the lack of the angel closing after himself.
And in a flustered huff, cheeks slightly red, he followed after Kaworu in front of the room, too surprised to even think of just closing it for him, but he stands in front of it, blocking the view. ]
K-Kaworu-kun, what are you doing?! [ You realize you're undressing in the open and people could see you?!
It didn't help the angel was already shirtless by the time Shinji got over there? ]

Shinji wasn't an expert on this sort of thing. But een he knew this was... quite the choice of clothes.
Kaworu will see Shinji sort of look around for a second until he spots something nearby. He takes the stripped over-shirt from the rack and hands it to Kaworu.
He is attempting to make it a little better...]That's fine. [ If Kaworu liked it, it was fine, after all. ]

it's a good thing he does. When the other hands him the shirt, the angel takes off the one he is wearing and dresses the new cloth. ]What do you think, Shinji-kun?

Me neither. Usually, my teacher usually did this sort of thing with me.
[ His teacher wasn't terrible. He was actually quite decent (maybe a little strict with Shinji, but that's all.) towards the boy, growing up. Shinji just never felt that sense of family or home.
But. In comparison to Kaworu, who had no earthly idea, he suddenly felt selfish for trying to compare.]

he does know Lilim see differences between the two and for that reason a male has clothes different from female, for example.
