The back reads: Come celebrate the fact that we're not dead. Anymore. There will be food, drink, really bad stories, possible pantslessness (though I'm wearing 2 belts), and more hijinks than you can shake a stick at. The Wake will be held at the Roadhouse and should be starting around 5, but come at your own pace. Bring a story to share or some pie. Actually, screw the story, just bring pie.

Seriously though, Derek and Jackson can get lost.

[ even derek realizes that's true to some extent. but only some. maybe he doesn't want to be civil with stiles, maybe he doesn't want to be civil with anyone. yet that leaves him to wonder why he's even here to begin with then, why he'd accepted the beer.

of course, at stiles' words, his first reaction is anger which takes a moment to push back. ]

Like what? Eating more pie?

Maybe. Or drinking more beer. Or killing more frost giants. Who knows? I never would have thought the latter would have wound up on my resume, but seems I got a bunch before getting hacked down, so... maybe I'll do that.

[He was just going to give Derek a look as he sipped his own beer.]

[ derek huffs, and it almost sounds amused. ]

And die again? You're not getting a second party.

Says who? You going to get a job as the party police and crash my death parties?

Maybe. At least that would be enjoyable.

Hate to break it to you, grumpy, but they don't have party police here. So hah. You're SOL. More pie for me and less fun having for you.

[Hey, look, Stiles was five now. A whole year older than his whiny four year old self.]

Someone has to be the first. [ maybe he'll make party policing a thing just for you now, stiles. don't you feel special. ]

Being a full time party pooper isn't exactly something you should advertise. You're supposed to try to make friends, remember? Not volunteer to be the new crazy person in town.

I've had like, five pies. I'm taking a pie break. But there's plenty of pie up there for everyone.

This is my business. Jerk face. This is my party and you're here and you need to put a damn smile on your face, have some pie, and loosen the hell up.
