The back reads: Come celebrate the fact that we're not dead. Anymore. There will be food, drink, really bad stories, possible pantslessness (though I'm wearing 2 belts), and more hijinks than you can shake a stick at. The Wake will be held at the Roadhouse and should be starting around 5, but come at your own pace. Bring a story to share or some pie. Actually, screw the story, just bring pie.

Seriously though, Derek and Jackson can get lost.

If I ever went near boats. Or maybe I'll trip and fall in front of a bus. Or eat bad Mexican.

Or you could drop a hairdryer in the tub while you're in it.

Now that I have hair, that could totally happen. Or I could be attacked by a rabid bat. Or, you know, get my head almost chopped off by an axe again.

Or there could always be a tragic see-saw accident.

Or an incident involving a run away shopping cart.

I don't know. I think I might wanna know about that one.

A sense of humor goes a long way. Besides, I'm at your wake right now, aren't I?

You are. Are you having a good time? Because if you're not, I'll figure out a way to fix that.

[Elena laughs a little and shakes her head.]

I'm having a great time. Promise.

It's been a while since I could just go to a party and relax.

Yeah? Well, hey, I understand. Parties usually wind up with someone getting brought back from the dead, so... you know.

[Okay, that had happened once, but once was enough.]

I usually have the opposite problem...

So maybe we're cancelling each other out.

Clearly we should go to every party together, if only for the good of our friends. Just to make sure no one winds up dead or resurrected. It's our duty.

Just had to make sure I still had it after coming back. It would suck if my sense of humor was what got slaughtered.

Mm, I fall for them. Well, okay. One. I fell for one. But it was for ten years, so I should get points for tenacity.
