[ Starting Day 314 (August 21/22), the Travellers are feeling a little bit more mischievous than usual. The curse sets in full force by Day 315 (August 23/24), and at that point, it’s all out war. Go crazy, kids, and make Uncle Loki smile. ]

He stepped away from the counter and moved out to lock up the door behind them, flipping the sign to 'closed.' Once outside, he rubbed his forehead. "It would be much easier to colorize this world if they would stop interfering."

"Do you think they do it on purrpose, Equius?" she says as she reaches out to take his hand, small yet strong fingers curling around his large and STRONG ones. "Because it would be silly if they did! It's like they're working against their own goals..."

"I believe it actually is on purpose, but the pointlessness of it all confuses me. It is remotely possible taht they believe that any emotion is sufficient, so irritating us is considered sufficient," he growled out, shrugging while they started to walk, hand idly gripping those fingers, though thankfully not with undue FORCE.

"It's pretty mean of them if they're doing it to upset us!" She reaches over with her free hand to pat at his arm reassuringly. "But don't worry! I won't let them make you do anything you didn't mean to."

He blinked and looked at her, cheeks going a faint shade of blue at the way she was mothering over him. "What did I do to merit a moirail like you?" he muttered, rubbing her hair with his fingers.

She's his moirail, it gives her the right to fuss! At the question she just giggles, squeezing his hand in hers. "I'm just as lucky to have you too!" she tells him, rubbing her head against the hand petting her.

It did! Despite his odd sound, he was actually being affectionate about that. He chuckled and grunted out a mixture of a growl and sigh. "We both are, I think," he said as they departed.
