Who: Stiles Stilinski & Rachel Elizabeth Dare
What: complete and utter shmoop in the form of a first sleepover.
When: day 378, late night.
Where: Rachel's room in Freyr.
Rating: pg-13, because makeouts!
[ so, this is potentially a really bad idea. well, not bad, but risky. risky in that back home she made a promise, an oath, that as long as she was the Oracle of Delphi she would remain a, ah, maiden, in every sense of the word. no dating, no sex, nothing that would tarnish her purity. when vowing to be the Spirit of Delphi's vessel, so to speak, she promised all of those things. and it was fine back home, seriously, after her crush on Percy kind of faded out, as crushes often do, she didn't have a lot of time to think about boys or dating anyway. not when the Prophecy of Seven was underway and the camp was about to be attacked by the Roman demigods from Camp Jupiter. it was actually really easy to avoid anything romantic during all of that.
but now she's here.
and here, there's a Stiles. who's kind of like a Hermes kid, in a lot of ways, but also very much mortal, which is kind of nice for a girl that's trying not to feel so damn guilty for taking advantage of her whole not-being-the-Oracle-here situation.
and it's confusing? but really not confusing at all. which is pretty much the only reason why it's so difficult to stick to that oath, especially without Apollo around to casually remind her that he could literally light her on fire with the power of the sun if she came close to breaking said oath. ...not that he would, but you get the point. and hey, Rachel isn't a ball full of sexual frustration or anything, she's been keeping herself in check, but it's a little difficult in this case, as opposed to how things were back home. she's had a few crushes before, sure, but up until now said crushes never really panned out. so the fact that she likes Stiles and Stiles likes her is all new to her, and new is pretty exciting in this case.
so when she texts him "goodnight" and he texts her back saying he's on his way over to tuck her in, she's realizes that now she's feeling kind of way too jittery to really think much about sleep. oh, this is bad. nonono, not bad. risky.
but risky is kinda fun, isn't it? ]

Consequences aren't really the first thing that comes to mind when the possibility of crawling into bed with his girlfriend (OH MY GOD HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND) is dangled in front of him. Red hair and that sweet smell and soft skin pretty much take up the majority of his concentration, which has him almost tripping on something sticking out from the edge of a house he was coming around, making him catch himself and causing Hale to give him a reprimanding squawk.]
God, shh. Fine, fine, I'll pay attention to what I'm doing.
[No he wouldn't. Because he was thinking about the fact that Rachel was currently wearing his name all over herself right now and feeling pretty gloaty about that fact. He not only had a girlfriend, but he had a hot girlfriend with a cheeky sense of humor.
Okay, Asgard wasn't so bad.
He wound up at Freyr House, creeping in and making his way up to her room, hands sweating so he wiped them on his pants as he knocked on her door. Please don't have fallen asleep.]
