What: Jack's taking Jenny out a date and the two Doctors are trailing them because it's Jack with their daughter!
When: Day 440, Afternoon
Where: Out and about, and then to a cafe.

When Jack has asked her to go out with him, she'd been more then willing to go. It was something to lead to a little bit of fun, and she had to admit, she'd found Jack to be quite fun, and rather amusing too. Any time he flirted with her, she just flirted back harmlessly, not really worried about it at all. After all, it wasn't the first time she'd ever flirted with a guy, and she'd originally had just as much fun flirting with Cline back on Messaline.

"You going to tell me where we're headed?" She asked him with a grin, wondering where it was they were going to be heading to for lunch.

When he'd made his initial plans to take Jenny out, he'd done it because she was great company, a beautiful woman, and because it promised for great entertainment when her fathers found out. He'd also made the plans before two of his team had disappeared, to return to their death.

He'd thought about canceling. Losing Owen and Tosh again, so close to one another... Knowing what waited for them outside of Asgard. Again... It hurt more than he wanted to think about, hurt way too damn much to deal with. So Jack didn't cancel, because canceling would have meant either moving around the house and seeing reminders of them, or escaping somewhere to brood. Keeping the date meant burying the pain beneath a cheerful, flirtatious facade and not having to deal with it, and that was something Jack Harkness was excellent at.

Instead of canceling, Jack led Jenny gallantly through the city, tucking her hand chivalrously within the crook of his arm as they headed towards Freya district. It was a great district for taking someone out, and Jack had had good luck there previously, and had already scoped out a nice little cafe to treat her too. It wasn't the same he'd taken Ianto to, but then, it shouldn't be, as this was an entirely different kind of 'date.' And, at her question, he grinned down charmingly, his eyes glinting with false cheer.

"You wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, would you? Where'd the fun in that be?"

Ten's wanderings are what causes him to see this scene. He's a little alarmed at first--the sight of Jack and Jenny together. He knows Jack can be a bit of a rogue and almost wants to go over there and interrupt. However, they seem to be enjoying each other's company so he decides to keep his distance. Jenny's smart enough to handle herself, he thinks. After all, who is he to interfere...other than usually the first.

Still, he hangs back and observes.

Eleven knew what was going on here. Or, well, he thought he did. He'd been trailing from the very beginning and, really, it wasn't because he thought anything would really happen but ...

Perhaps he was a bit overly protective of Jenny. And he always kept a bit of a leash on Jack. So here he was, following, despite it all. And he was so focused on the pair of them that he walked straight into Ten.

"Ah--" He straightened up and took a step back, blinking. "Oh. Hello."

Ten is surprised by the arrival of his future self.

"Hello!"

He looks from him to the other two some distance away. This is a bit of a coincidence.

"Fancy meeting you here? Enjoying a night stroll as well?"
