Who: Clara Oswald & Anyone
What: Waking up from one really long sleep
When: Morning of 463
Where: Garden of Thor 103 & out and about
Rating: G - no warnings needed!
[She's not sure how long she slept, exactly, but she's sure that it wasn't just overnight. Not with the condition of her hair when she wakes up, or the fact that she actually recalls having a large number of horrible dreams that she couldn't pull herself out from. She wakes up in her room, alone, something she's grateful for. There's a moment of panic as she stumbles out of bed and wobbles her way over toward her changing table to look at herself in the mirror. She thinks to call out to the Doctor, but in her panicked and disoriented state, she decides to shuffle her way downstairs and out to the garden.
With shaky hands, she tests her power - growing a flowery vine that has the flowers torn apart by thorns with a twist of her hand.
She's still in Asgard, that's for sure. And she has control over her actions now, she's not still sleeping and trapped in a dream where she can't control a single thing. She gives out a sigh of relief and finally allows herself to smile.
Later in the day, she doesn't hesitate to take to the streets of the city. There's so much to be done, so many people to check in on. If you're someone she knows and cares for, expect to see her popping by your residence or workplace to check up on you. If you aren't acquainted with her just yet, it's all too easy to bump into her when she's aimlessly wandering around just for the sake of getting to move about.]

When she comes by the shop, he's on his knees next to a bookshelf, looking over the order of the books. Checking it from top to toe is something he does practically every day because otherwise he gets bored. He hears the door opening, but he doesn't look up. Because busy. He does call out, however. ]
Hello! Rubbish weather today, isn't it? Or at least it was last I checked. Maybe the rain stopped.

[There's warmth and fondness in her tone, and it matches the smile on her face. Since he's busy with his books, she makes her way over to crouch down beside him and gets right to work checking over the order along with him. She knows how much keeping things in the proper order means to him, and it's been a while since she's been able to work.]
Sorry I'm late. Bed was just so comfortable, I couldn't be bothered to get out.

Clara!
[ Break in the work for hugging. It's needed. ]

Hello, Doctor.
[A quick kiss is placed to his cheek, and she pulls back enough to look up at his face.]
Miss me?
no subject
Lots.
Feeling all right?

[She smiles, giving him a look that says it's taking a lot of patience and effort not to launch herself into a frustrated panic. Not that there's anything to panic over, she just hates not being in control.]
I'll be just fine.

[ Huff. ]

Some of the dreams I had, I thought they were real.
[She's not impossibly resilient, but she'll keep letting him think so.]
I wasn't sure I'd ever get out of them. Must be the stubborn part that helped me through.

He presses his lips to the top of her head, frowning. ]
You got them too?
no subject
Was that a thing, everyone having nightmares?
no subject
Apparently. I wasn't around for most of it, but when I came back and went to sleep I got one right away.
no subject
Sorry for that. If I had been awake, I would've slapped you right out of it.

[ He claps her cheek. ]
And besides, it's all over now.
[ Those nightmares, anyway. Doesn't mean he doesn't have his entirely own ones to deal with. ]

[She repeats, giving a nod of her head.]
All we've got left to worry about now are those nightmares about things that hide under your bed.
[Which is just childish, so she laughs and busies herself with straightening the books once again.]

There's no way she can beat him at this. He does it all the time, every day, whenever he gets bored of reading and doesn't have to, say, dust. He picks up the pace, and snatches the next section before she gets to it. ]
