OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY
Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (
mishaps), Sena (
meatshields), & Yozora (
playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!
[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.
He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. He hasn't made this much food since he was back at home, and he actually doesn't mind. It's something for him to do, and without school and Kobato around, it feels like chunk of his life is missing.
He looks at his bracelet and realizes people should start coming in soon.]

so if she isn't there, kodaka has a feeling as to where she is. he's standing in the doorway, and he watches her for a few seconds before he speaks up.]
Oi, you have real people to talk to out there -- your 2D ones can wait.

[ she picks up the controller and it looks as if she's going to resume the game. instead she navigates back to the saved files screen and selects one file. strangely enough, instead of a new scene, the same sunset and girl come back on. ]
Sena-kun ... This is goodbye ...
[ back to the save screen, back to the beginning of the scene ]
Sena-kun ... This is goodbye ...
[ again ]
Sena-kun ... This is goodbye ...
I got this ending before but when I realized this was the bad end, I stopped immediately! I wasn't going to play it all the way through but I wanted to cherish every moment with Nyaruko-chan so I decided to keep playing. I really liked the way this farewell scene was written. That stupid Yozora... This is really as artistically produced as any piece of great literature! Nyaruko-chan has to say goodbye because it was just an accident not allowed for by fate that led her to meet Sena.
I really liked this scene when I first got to it.
Sena-kun ... This is goodbye ...
[ she's still not looking at kodaka ]

he starts to walk closer to her, and he notices the scene starting. he stops, about a foot away from her. he watches the scree, listening to what she's saying. while he does think some actually have good plots and interesting aspects, he rather have the real thing.]
At least she got the chance to say goodbye, didn't she? It's hard when you're not able to.

[ the dialogue on the screen continues ]
These are the important things that you gave to me: your smile, a body pillow with your picture, ... >
It must be really hard for the person who has to say it right? Incredibly hard. It must have taken all of Nyaruko-chan's bravery to do it. [ the rounded edges of the controller bite into the skin of her fingers, her palms. ] So it should be understandable when other people don't. So- So if it were someone that I- if that were the case then it'd be better to not have had to make someone else say it.

[he's not sure what to exactly do or say. maybe his words won't do anything or maybe they'll upset her more. he knows now she's not throwing some tantrum but something has happened. he doesn't want to pry, but at the same time he doesn't want to be in the dark as to why she's upset. did sora know all those years ago? had a feeling he was moving and couldn't face him? he's stuck between then in now -- thinking between sena and himself. the lines are blurred and he's trying to keep them separate. he moves a little closer, staring at the back of her head.] Sometimes we never get the chance to say goodbye, even if we really want to.
