Who: Richard Castle, Kate Beckett and YOU (seriously if you have CR with either of them, or hell even if you don't, you're welcome to come)
What: WEDDING. :D
When: Evening, Day 539 (before the battle)
Where: Gefion Park
Rating: Sappiness
On the night before the Travelers set out to battle Thiazi's forces, a portion of Gefion Park is set aside under a tent. Thanks to some of the people gifted with ice magic, the tent is decked out with glittering ice decorations to fit the winter theme of the wedding. Castle is quite proud of the planning that he was able to do and the resources that he was able to cobble together from Utgard. Tea lights glow in Mason jars filled with fake snow. They line the aisle that Kate walks down, smiling as she meets Castle at the end of it. The presider of the wedding says a few words and then both Kate and Castle say their vows. Rings are placed on each others' fingers. They're pronounced husband and wife and after a long kiss they walk back down the aisle together.
The chairs from the ceremony are cleared away and replaced with long decorated tables. Lights glint in the trees and from the bulbs strung across the ceiling of the tent. Everyone is invited to stay for light refreshments and dancing.
Refreshments include cake and a hot chocolate bar, complete with different flavorings and toppings. There are also drinks of a more adult variety thanks to Hawkeye who was able to either make or secure some booze. They're technically supposed to be for those over 21, but Castle doesn't plan on busting anyone who might sneak a bit.
The couple have their first dance between the tables of the reception. They're both dressed casually to reflect what's available in Asgard. Kate wears a white lace shirt and a pair of white dress pants. Castle wears a suit without a tie and a flower in his lapel. Overall, the look is still elegant.
They both hope that the wedding will serve as a relaxing event before the battle.

"Ohh, I've wanted to try that cake since we got here. We're going to have to wait for that for sure." Still grinning, still kidding, because really - she's the same as Castle. She'd pick him over cake any day. But now she's teasing him, so it's a matter of letting this stretch out as long as possible.

Icing can make anything good, but hopefully the cake won't taste like frosted cardboard. What he'd really like to do is smear icing all over Kate and lick it off, but he can be a good boy and wait a bit longer.

It isn't like they don't have sex almost every other night of their lives, but tonight is special. It's their first night officially married. He's consumed with love for her and wants her to himself.
