The Grey Sickness is officially declared gone and Asgard begins tearing down its walls.

DAY 580 ( MAR. 5/6 )

Honir permanently opens the portal for travel between canon worlds and Yggdrasil. Henceforth, any character can come and go as they please.

DAY 583 ( MAR. 11/12 )

Frigg gives any willing Travellers the ability to redesign the earth through expressions of emotion or art. Asgard has a huge tree-planting party with blessed water to encourage faster growth.

DAY 585 ( MAR. 15/16 )

Small councils are formed with Travellers at the head of them to begin rebuilding the new kingdoms around the world.

DAY 590 ( MAR. 25/26 )

New Giants are born neutral of any bias for people to bring into the world with the Lokis as their Kings.

DAY 600 AND ONWARD

[Maria can't quite agree to that so readily, poignantly missing her son with every waking moment as she does. But would she forsake her time here, having learned the things she has and met the people she's come to love?

No. Honestly, she wouldn't.

But that doesn't mean she can't roll her eyes at Altaïr's pronouncement that she scares people and pat Desmond on the shoulder.]

There are some connections, I think, that are strong enough to survive even the most insurmountable of objects. Being here has shown me that.

[ He's going to miss them. The feeling is sudden, acute, like a quick rush of childish homesickness. Asgard is home for Desmond partly because of them, because of all of the Assassins and all the people flung together that have made up his friends, his family.

There's no way he won't see them again though. It's almost guaranteed. What will they make of him in the far-off future? ]

Just don't go too soon. We need to give you guys a proper send-off.

We won't. There are a number of things to see to first.

[At least one of which very much involves Desmond—he'll have to speak with Ezio about it. But that part, at least, has been planned for a long time.]

Something tells me you won't be alone here once all who are returning home have done so.

[ Alastair, for one. Riley, hopefully, he can't think of any reason why she or Ellie would go back to zombies. Would Satine stay? The thought glues his tongue to the roof of his mouth, and makes his heart thump a little oddly. Surely not...
