The Grey Sickness is officially declared gone and Asgard begins tearing down its walls.

DAY 580 ( MAR. 5/6 )

Honir permanently opens the portal for travel between canon worlds and Yggdrasil. Henceforth, any character can come and go as they please.

DAY 583 ( MAR. 11/12 )

Frigg gives any willing Travellers the ability to redesign the earth through expressions of emotion or art. Asgard has a huge tree-planting party with blessed water to encourage faster growth.

DAY 585 ( MAR. 15/16 )

Small councils are formed with Travellers at the head of them to begin rebuilding the new kingdoms around the world.

DAY 590 ( MAR. 25/26 )

New Giants are born neutral of any bias for people to bring into the world with the Lokis as their Kings.

DAY 600 AND ONWARD

[He paused at that, not sure... what to do to make her want to. Other than puppy dog eyes, because he was good with those.]

[She was clearly disappointed with that answer. Was he even trying? Had he always been so ... inept? Jesus, how had such a loser played her so badly.]

Some stuff went down back home and I need to lie low for a while, stay out of the way until it blows over. So. Yeah. I am staying, at least for a little bit.

[His lips twitched up into a smile.]

Well... I can let you crash at my place?

Hell. No. You're going to have to do better than that to get me back in your bed, asshole.

[Adachi held his hands up.]

I didn't mean it like that! I'll take the couch.

No. Still no. Very, very no. I'll find something else thanks.

[She drummed her fingers on the table, scrutinizing everything about him.]

But! But. If you really mean it, if you want me to stick around, well. ... Call me up sometime, ask me out again, and we'll see.

[Adachi paused a moment, before he smiled brightly.]

But if you make me regret it even once, I swear to god I'll kill you in a second.

Eh...heh...

[Adachi couldn't help but let out an awkward laugh, rubbing at the back of his neck. After a moment, he peered over at her again, feeling his mouth go dry.]

...hey, uh... I'm... uh...

[She smiled brightly at him. Not the way she used to, like he was the best and brightest thing in her world, but it was a damn sight better than the hurt and tired frown she'd been wearing this entire conversation so far.]

Selfish? Egoistic? A total dickhead?

[He smiled sheepishly.]

Yeah, yep, and yes.

[He deflated again, those puppy dog eyes coming back as he looked at her.]

...and... uh... sorry, too.

[She looked away quickly. Don't you try those eyes on her, mister!]

[Adachi stared a moment, before he smirked slightly.]

...do I need to show how sorry I am, or are we good with an apology?

Of course we aren't good with an apology! If you're really sorry, you need to show it! Do you think I'd accept it just on your say-so, you ass?

Well, it would have been easy so... no, not really.

It's not like you've got a good track record. You're on probation, mister.

[Adachi let out an awkward noise, sitting back in his seat. Probation? Really?]

Y-yeah...

What's your endgame, Tohru? What are you really after here?

[He stared at her a moment, mouth working, before he finally managed to get sound out again.]

Hey, this is the first time I've actually got a chance at getting the things I've always wanted. That's all.

But what is it? What're the things you've always wanted?

[Adachi paused, falling quiet for a moment as he leaned back in his chair.]

...what I was promised growing up was that if I studied hard, I'd be able to have a good job and a good family. I believed it so much that when I didn't get it... well, I already told you that part.

[He shrugged, not looking at her.]

So... like I said, this place is giving me another chance. So maybe I can get this life thing done right this time.

So are you like, gonna try to murder me when I'm not the perfect little housewife of your dreams?

I think that's a pretty fair question, considering.

[Adachi let out an exasperated noise.]

H-hey, the way I murder doesn't work here...
