What: Hanako has decided to actually practice her Growth powers, and for that, she needs something to train on. So she's going to use the House's yard area, at a time where a few people walk around- about the night time. Before that, maybe it's best to have a little exploration of the area! Whether you notice her from your rooms or just pass by, if you see her and try to talk to her, she'll be scared at first. But don't worry, that might dissipate soon if you show good intentions (and you don't ask about the scars).
When: Day 59, late evening.
Where: Sigyn's House, somewhere in the yard.

[After a long time of thinking and brooding, Hanako finally came to a decision. Staying holed in and doing nothing but think about the incidents of a few days ago would do nothing good to her, except feed on her depression. Not even the books that used so much to distract her were working now. Try as she might, she'd never forget of the past events... and she's tired of having her eyes prickle with tears everytime something reminds her of the trauma. Hisao only could do much to relieve her spirits, but he can't magically make her problems go away. That only depends on her, and frankly, she doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for her.

The idea is that she needs to engage in a new activity. Joining the Neighbors club would have been a good step, but it would take a while for her to get used to the idea of meeting that bunch of unsettling people in person. So, in the meantime, she must concentrate on something else entirely. Those semens Laura had sent her days earlier might come in handy.

When she's sure that all the housemates are away, she dons her hoodie outfit, grabs a small bag with the semens and a couple gardening books in it, and quietly sneaks out of her room and out of the hall. Good, the path's clear!

The rain of the past days has left a pleasant aroma and a fresh air overall. It helps her mood a bit, somewhat. For now she'll just walk around, through the spots where the moonlight and the lights from her house still illuminate the patches of grass and trees, while holding the bag protectively in her arms.

There's no way anyone would suddenly bump into her, right? ... Right?]

[Nope. Keine had intended to walk by, at least initially, when she had caught sight of the girl wandering about, with that bag huddled closely to herself.

In light of recent events, this is no doubt suspicious... But no need to approach with an aggressive stance! Keine's just going to walk closer, and call out.]

There goes her bag, dropped onto the ground while she jumps and quickly covers her face with her hoodie.]

[Anyway! That reaction just makes her seem all the more suspicious..! But still no need to be aggressive yet! It could always be some... overly shy girl, judging from that voice!]

[she moves onwards, picks up that bag for her and pats off any dust] Here.

Hanako looks at the bag, then at the girl, her eye the only visible thing about her face. She doesn't recognize her, but takes the bag from her hands politely.]

Th-thank you, miss...

[her eye... it's a beautiful eye, if anything. but meanwhile there are more important questions]

Are you a member of Sigyn as well?

... Yes. [And now she'll hold the bag tight again.] I'm here since... o-over a week ago.

Ah, I had thought for a while that you might be an intruder or something like that! [a faint breath of relief - she was a little tensed by her presence earlier, even if she might not have shown it at all.] It's nice to meet you! I'm Keine Kamishirasawa, also a member of Sigyn.

[Now Hanako feels slightly relieved, too. Not to the point that she'd stop shivering, though!]

I'm Hanako... Ikezawa Hanako. I- I'm sorry for giving that impression.

Oh, no, no! I've just been a little more wary than usual in light of recent events. There's nothing you did that could have made me think that way, otherwise!

Hanako, hmm! That's quite the pretty name. Have you been settling well into life here?

I... I c-can understand that. The past days were... s-scary. [Shudder.]

I'm n-not getting used to things yet, but most p-people here seem nice.

Indeed... [it brings back the clear image of what happened to Shiki, just talking about it...]

You'll certainly not find a shortage of nice people here in Sigyn, then. After all, members of her house are known to be the most caring of the city.

... Y-yes. I'm part of Sigyn too. [Though she's confused because she doesn't think she's that kind hearted. Self degrading is an ugly thing.]

I... should consider myself lucky then. [She pulls the hood down some more.]

[something has been bothering her for a bit, though. This girl has been hiding her face for the whole time... But for what reason that could be eludes her. for now.]

... I'll t-try, thank you. [Not sounding much sincere, since she can't find it in herself to be confident at all. In the midst of all that, she didn't pay attention to the fact that her hand is exposed, and that some marks are visible from the moonlight.]

[she's just observing Hanako a little here, when she notices the scars on her hand...] Mm...?

[she hums, thoughtfully, when she does spot the scars... That's odd, didn't Hanako say she arrived a week ago or so? But the dragon had been more than a month back... This must be a scar from before she arrived...?

But she's highly aware of how girls might feel sensitive to scars, being one at heart herself... sort of... so she doesn't really speak of it.

Hanako has heard the hum, but is clueless about what caused it. She shifts her weight from a foot to the other, fidgetting a bit and maybe waiting for Keine to speak again.]

S-So...! Were you going somewhere before?

Um... I just wanted t-to explore the area... and maybe try my powers a bit.

Aa, of course. Exploring unfamiliar surroundings will certainly help in the long run.

Growth, hmm? I haven't really had the chance to see it in action before. Would you mind if I came along to observe?

Oh... no, I d-don't. It's just that I never used to have any powers w-when I was in my world, so I wouldn't k-know how to start learning...

Hmm... As I understand, it's as simple as imagining the energies of this world around you, and willing them to come together, to be changed and used for your powers.

Why not try it? As I understand you may encourage plants to grow, so how about that sapling over there? [pointing at a conveniently-placed sapling a few feet away in this yard they're standing in, yup.]
