What: Hugging competition.
When: Days 89 and 90.
Where: Heimdall District
Rating: UGUU.

[Open log for anyone who happens to be in the Heimdall district during the hugging event! Hop in, tag other characters, and/or make your own threads. Thread starters, please make sure to include your character's location (Welcome Hall, streets, shops, etc.) and the exact day (89 for general hugging, and 90 for sticky hugs) in the subject line for convenience. If your character is everywhere and open to both days, then just say so. For more information, take a look at the mod post regarding the event!]

[All he'd wanted to do was go to the bank, but it's taken over twice as long to get to Heimdall due to him stopping to hug every single person he met along the way. Sadly, Xion is not an exception as she comes close to bumping against him.

For all he wants to resist the urge, he can feel his body positioning itself to do the uncomfortable deed.]

[Indeed, hugging is something that happens. Xion isn't even sure what's more awkward for her at that moment. The fact that she automatically hugged back before she could stop herself, or the fact that she's gotten hugged so many times by now that she's not even surprised when a stranger hugs her anymore? Both options seem rather hideous, to be honest.

Either way, she just kind of resigns herself to it with a sigh.]

No need to apologize. [He's already starting to let go, averting his gaze as though he were attempting to give her some sort of privacy for imposing himself on her so abruptly.]

...I guess you could say that. It's hard not to be after a whole day like this. [Which is a day more of hugs than she ever needed.] You?

... Fortunate. [Already he is crossing his arms and wiping any trace of irritation on his face, trying not to think of how disastrous this particular spell would have been if he were not affected.]

It seems those who would not normally be inclined to do this are the worst off.

Really? [Pondering on that logic for a moment here. The more she thought about it, the more it made sense considering what the gods wanted. Rude.]

...Actually, that makes sense. If you wanted everyone to hug each other, the people who already liked hugs would do it anyways.

[Rude it was indeed, and to think he had bothered to listen to Freyr when he had made an appearance the other day.]

Then they must surely be enjoying this if they already do it so often. [Except not really, but at least they were more accustomed to touch and not wanting to stab someone in retaliation.]

Probably. It'd be great if this wasn't happening at all, though. [Because this isn't her exact ideal way of getting her hug on. At all.]
