Today is the grand opening of the Neighbors Club's newest event - the much-awaited Tsundere Maid Cafe. There are four location subthreads: outside the entrance, serving area, kitchen and a catch-all thread if there's anything else you want to do! FIGHT THE SYSTEM etc. In the serving area, feel free to pick a server of your choosing or leave it to us. If you're having trouble thinking of how to tag this, here's a list of RNG prompts for you to roll/pick from. The blank comments are spacers since a lot of people were having trouble loading our last log! Hopefully it works out for you guys.

What goes on behind the counter while our lovely servers are chatting it up with the customers? This is Hell's Kitchen, okay. Kodaka may not be a Chef Ramsey, but he sure looks scary...

BEFORE OPENING; PREPPING AND HELPING

[Kodaka is prepping some of the ingredients needed. Feel free to come over if you promised to help. Many of the ingredients are place together with their corresponding recipe.]

[The kitchen's door opens as a purple-haired head peeks out. Hanako has been quite lost, this is the first time she's headed to the club's headquarters at all and she hasn't met anyone on the way to ask informations to. At least she's right on time as Kodaka told her.

After a quick look around, Hanako will politely speak before stepping in.]

E, excuse me... Hasegawa-san?

[mishaps]

Come on in. [He's finishing up dicing some potatoes, not seeing her just yet.] We have a lot of work ahead.

[burntviolet]

Alright, um... [She approaches closer, then asks.] Where can I get an apron?

[mishaps]

On the table, over there. [he points to the table, still focused on the potatoes.] And you don't need to be formal. Most people in the club call me Kodaka... it's a friend thing, I guess. Practice.

I think I might have gotten a little too overwhelmed with the menu but Yozora and Sena-[he starts to turn around to see her, and when he does, there's a lump in his throat. Ah, no he shouldn't stare. No, he should do something productive and normal and say something.] I... I'm glad you're here to help. You'll probably need your hair up, though. [why is he so awkward turtle.......] It'll be harder to cook with it down.

FOOD SERVICE ; COOKING ALL THE THINGS

[Kodaka is working on an order. Is your character helping, causing him trouble, returning food, or hanging like a cool kid in the kitchen?]

[ Yozora has passed by him, like, what, thirty times? It's like the day he transferred in all over again. Notice her already!!!

Oh cool, an order. She finally has an excuse to talk to him... while in her maid uniform. Here it goes. ]

Two orders of croquettes and a glass of water. [ She hands him the slip of paper. ] The water is for me.

[He's noticed her walking past him quite a bit. So much so it was distracting, but he realized he should get focused and started to ignore it the best he could.

When she speaks, he looks up, nodding.] Got it. You sure you just want water? I could grab you something small to snack on. [it must be hard watching everyone eat and not having any... to him anyway.]

[ Well, she doesn't want to act like she's touched by the thought of him being concerned...! ]

Hmph! Don't even think of fattening me up. I'm not a pig...

[Pig? Yozora is plenty skinny and he is very confused.]

You've been working, and I think you deserve a break. [and now for awkward turtle times.] And you look... nice. [NO HE'S BLUSHING. He's going to pretend to be doing things now... like that order. Yes. That order thing.]

[As Hanako is helping out, taking care of the savory food department, anyone could notice that she's deeply focused on her work. Her expression could be read as the same she makes when she reads any book or plays a chess match. Cooking is one of the things she likes to do, after all. This job turns out to be quite fun to her, despite the seriousness of it.

Her hair has been gathered in a bun, leaving only her front bangs out- because as much comfortable as she feels in this enviroment, she's still self-conscious of her scars. Unfortunately, they can still be spotted here and there, but it's not a big deal.

You may go and talk to her, but if you're not Kodaka, be careful not to startle her. If she's holding a knife or carrying a porful of boiled water, it might not end well for you.]

See, with your hair like that, it makes things a lot easier. [He's a few feet away himself, putting some cookies in the oven. ] At least you aren't baking, though. It feels like I've got flour covering my entire body. [and yes, his poor face and hair has patches of flour over it.]

I... guess you're right, but I wouldn't mind that either. [She's rounding up some onigiri while paying attention to the things she's frying on the stove.] I've been baking quite a bit in the past.

[mishaps]

If you want, we can switch off. [he's read girls like baking more, but he doesn't want to assume.] Now that we've got a hang of this, it shouldn't be as hard.

[Conan's been working hard himself, conscious of Hanako working beside him. No one wants a seven-year-old near the serious cooking parts, least of all Conan himself ... but Hanako has a small helper, keeping an eye on how she's progress and bringing her fresh ingredients or clean utensils when she's running low.]

[Hanako doesn't know the boy that well, but she's grateful for the help- sparing her some precious time. Since he's a kid, she has some easier time talking to him, thanking him whenever he provides her the utensils she needs to keep working.]

You're being a great help... thank you. [She speaks softly as she takes the pork to fry for the Katsu-sando.]

[Conan's carefully, methodically, slowly prepping the katsu sandwhich fillings, getting the lettuce washed, dried, ready to go, the cucumbers evenly sliced, the carrots cut into perfect heart shapes (ugh, girls) and using an ice-cream scoop to measure out perfect balls of potato salad to go on the side.

... or maybe he's sitting on a crate, reading The Third Girl as he waits for an order to come in.]

Yeah today we-[and he turns around and oh she's such a cutie!! he's blushing so he turns back around, somewhat working on dough for the scones.] We're doing some sort of made café. Thing. Something.

Oh! Maybe I should order from that, then?
