Today is the grand opening of the Neighbors Club's newest event - the much-awaited Tsundere Maid Cafe. There are four location subthreads: outside the entrance, serving area, kitchen and a catch-all thread if there's anything else you want to do! FIGHT THE SYSTEM etc. In the serving area, feel free to pick a server of your choosing or leave it to us. If you're having trouble thinking of how to tag this, here's a list of RNG prompts for you to roll/pick from. The blank comments are spacers since a lot of people were having trouble loading our last log! Hopefully it works out for you guys.

[Kodaka is trying to eat dinner, but his body is so sore and tired he can barely move the food to his mouth. He's exhausted, starving, and wants to sleep. He never knew it'd be this difficult even with help. He's actually surprised at how things turned out and... yeah, he's happy. He had fun somehow through all the work. He thought this event would be terrible... but somehow it worked. He's not sure how, but it did.]

[Hello, Kadoka. Don't mind Himari as she's passing by and can't help but to notice his difficulty moving. She was curious enough to stick to the end, and is now curious about what's wrong here. So, approaching!!]

Um... excuse me. Are you alright?

[it takes him a while to notice someone is actually speaking to him and not someone else. he pauses, slowly, nodding.]

Yeah. I guess I am more out of shape than I thought. [oh wait did she work here for the event?] We're closed, but if you want someone small to eat or drink, I can get you something.

Oh, no. I'm stuffed from all the food I ate here today, but thank you! [Flashing a friendly smile here. Excuse her as she slides in closer to him to examine his face.]

Hmm... did you work here today? I don't recall seeing your face around.

How did you like the food? [it might seem like he's fishing for compliments, but he actually wants to know if he did his job well enough.]

Yeah, I was running the kitchen. [because he was told his face was too scary to deal with customers.]

It was delicious! I haven't been so stuffed in a while. [And by while, she means "couple of days", but let's not talk about that. She'll be rubbing her stomach for emphasis, before blinking at his second statement and peering at him with an amazed expression on her face.]

Eh? Really? Then... I'd say compliments to the chef, but seeing as you were the chef, compliments to you!

With a sigh, Hanako nibbles on the onigiri, sitting outside in the backyard. It must be the fire, the heat, or the fast working. But at one point she couldn't breath normally, and her heart began pumping like in a formula 1 race. Eventually stress and anxiety caught up to her, and she had to ask Kodaka for a small break to catch her breath. He was kind enough to concede it.

She hates this, so much. She hates being like this. Why can't she handle doing any job, even if she likes it? Even when she does all her best...

Whoops, you might catch her cry if you happen to pass by.]

[Don't mind Shiki. He grabs a seat beside Hanako though he's pretty much worn out. That doesn't mean he's absolutely oblivious though.]

[ She really couldn’t be around people, it was completely true. Any time she had to serve a customer, she’d just end up verbally abusing them to the point that it made the atmosphere go unpleasant. She really was trying to cure her bad habit, but it really was a hopeless case.

Useless, all useless.

Because of her down she was, she’s just leaning against a wall out of the public eye with a gloomy aura hovering over her. Sadly this is what being a tsunshun entails -- one minute you’re aloof (tsun), and then the next you’re depressed (shun). Fun times. ]

[ fortunately (and possibly unfortunately for his own sanity), noel's a pretty observant guy, even on break-- not to mention confused enough about the whole thing to want to stick close to others involved. he pretty much fails at the whole tsundere side of things, but he's trying his best to be involved all the same, and that means socializing. ]

Hey. [ he is The Best at greetings, don't even deny it... but he does think she looks a little down, and tries to make light of the situation. ] You want something to eat? Someone ordered too many of these, so I got what was left.

[ where the 'these' in question are cookies... cookies he perhaps stole but w/e ]

[ She hadn’t been expecting anyone to notice her, so naturally she was surprised when Noel showed up and offered her food, well.. cookies, to be more specific. Not sure on how to react, she just stares for a while before.. you know the drill. ]

I’m not some orphan on the street, so you don’t have to offer me food. That aside, I’m not hungry but thanks for that humble offer of yours.

I didn't think you were. [ said in total seriousness. lol what is understanding things ] They're making it hard to take anything from the kitchen without an order. I guess we must be doing a lot of business.

[ because man was it ever busy in there. he's not really surprised about the whole no-take thing with the food, because it would probably run out in the space of ten minutes if they could all just eat away. ]

That’s because the food isn’t made for us, we just serve it. [ noel please, even you should have known that. ] What, were you trying to sneak food away instead of giving it to the customers? Hmph, what a glutton you are.

[ At least you can talk to people, Ririchiyo. Yozora can't even be her sadistic self around most of these customers. As she makes her way back to the kitchen to get some rest, she spots Ririchiyo. ]

[ She asks her as if she's running out of air. From her perspective, this job is as exhausting as it looks! ]

[ It’s hardly considered talking when you’re making them wish they’d never came to this cafe. Ririchiyo does, however, notice how exhausted she looks. ]

I'm not simple. [ Yozora is offended! She leans on the wall, some distance away from Ririchiyo. ] It's facing the fear that's difficult.

So you’re scared of all the people you and that lolicon roped into coming here? [ She does get it though... socializing is really hard, especially when it isn’t your forte. ] Humph, how stupid. Well, at least this time you aren’t huddling up in a corner while resisting the urge to throw up.

[He has been watching over his master somewhere behind the scenes. Way, way, way back. A spot where he was completely out of the way, easy to ignore, and not notice at all. It was difficult for him to leave his master alone. Even if she was in a "safe place" of sorts, he just couldn't help have trouble not imagine someone trying to do some sort of pass on his adorable master. What if they tried to touch her inappropiately while she worked? He should be there! To protect her from all the potential threats of the area, even if watching her doing so much hard work bugged him to no ends. He will have to make it up to her by being her hands and feet for an entire week! He was very determined to allow it to be so.

Now, however, he was simply watching her speak with other people during her break. Soushi did not move from his spot until he noticed his master was finally left alone. He hated to leave her alone for very long or else she would begin to silently brood.]

Ririchiyo-sama. [Yes, he will be heading her way.] Are you currently enjoying yourself?

[ Here it was again, that irregular heartbeat. She knew it was Miketsukami who was talking to her before she turned around to face him, albiet with a bit of fidgeting. He was asking her if she was enjoying herself, which meant that he was worried about her in his own way; she knew him well enough to know that. Before she answers, she turns her head to the side somewhat to hide her blushing face. ]

I wouldn’t say that I’m enjoying myself, but it is fun. I-I guess. Everyone has been helping each other out which is.. good.
