Who: Anyone! Poketopia workers, visitors, customers, ect.
What: Right what it says on the tin: an open log at the Pokemon-themed cafe, Poketopia! There's gonna be a seperate thread for new workers, but otherwise you can go crazy. Order food! Check out the cute girls in maid outfits! All that jazz. If you're interested in applying OR want to see the menu, the cafe info/signup post is here!

[ those are the first words that your character will hear upon entering the red and white-decked cafe interior. the smell of baked goods has filled the air, and bustling male and female workers are busy waiting on tables and rushing back to the kitchen for new orders.

on the windowstills, flower pots have berry plants growing in them. cards are next to the plots, giving the names of the berries and their flavours. feel free to try one -- just stay away from the spicy berries, unless you want to breathe some fire.

don't feel as hungry as you thought? relax and kick back in the lounge portion of the cafe. you won't be able to order food, but our waiters and waitress will happily get you something to drink. but if you do feel like eating something, take a seat! your server will be with you momentarily with our full menu. ]

Ohhh, you're friends with a Pokemon trainer or something? I've only talked to Touya so...

I just wanted to check this place out. [ Super, super cute. ] The menu is also adorable.

What did you order, huh?

Touya? I haven't met him. My friend's name is Jasmine, and she runs a gym. I guess trainers get badges there for defeating her. Pretty cool, huh?

Oh - I ordered the lime sherbet float. I don't usually have such sweet things, but I figured I could treat myself this once.

Yeah...! Pretty cool. It's like a diploma for passing a test, or something. [ Only way she can describe it. ]

You know, sweet things taste even sweeter when you haven't had them a while. Do you get what I mean?

I figure she must be pretty good, to have gotten that far. And she doesn't look much older than me.

[She laughs a little at that.] Yeah, I think I do. I try not to overindulge in anything, so that I can always appreciate it.

Achieving great feats seems to be a thing in the "World of Pokemon", it seems. Touya told me he was... like champion or something. [ CHAMPION IS A BIG TITLE. ]

That's good, that's good! But since we're on the topic of tests kind of... [ do you have an idea what she might say? ]

Champion... that must be a big deal, too. It seems like everything in those worlds revolves around Pokemon, even the legends and stuff.

[She gives Yifei a curious look.] Tests?

[windwalker]

That makes sense to me. Animals inspire legends back at home, too!

Yeaaah, so make sure to study, okay? [ Heh. ]

[whatagoodgirl]

Wait, you're testing me already? So soon? [There's open panic on her face.]

[windwalker]

Yeah? Don't teachers usually test their pupils? [ There should be terror, that's good.

Very good. Yifei just simply drinks from her cup. ]

[whatagoodgirl]

Of course, but...

[No. She can handle this. She's been strength training and hasn't missed a single session with Yifei. She doesn't feel anywhere near ready, but panicking won't get her anywhere.]

... okay. I'll be ready.

All right! Since this is your first, I already have a date set rather pull a pop quiz over your head.

Sounds fair? [ She can see the determination and it only makes she grin widely. ]

Sure. When's it going to be?

A week? Is that enough for you?

[whatagoodgirl]

[There's another brief moment of wide-eyed panic, but she stifles it as quickly as she can.]

Yeah, of course it is. I'll just get in some extra practice when I can.

[windwalker]

If you feel uncomfortable with it, I can give you some more time... [ She saw that, basically. Tilting her head she stuffs her face with some food. ]

It's more of a progress marker than anything.

No, no, I'll be ready. There's no point in postponing it, that just gives me more time to be nervous. I can do it.

[windwalker]

All right, all right.

Why don't we talk about other things, huh? To get your mind off it for now! [ Yeaaah, let's get a seat here. ]

Well, what have you been up to, other than training me? We never get much chance to talk.

[windwalker]

... Sadly, not much. I just talk to people once in a while, juggle some jobs, and terrorize the network sometimes. [ Her life seems stale here. There's some slightly gloom in the air. ]

[whatagoodgirl]

[Nakama can sense that, and she's not exactly surprised, but it doesn't make sense to her. Working and having people to talk to - that sounds more than good enough for her.]

What would you rather be doing?

[windwalker]

I... I don't know, really. I'm so used to doing crazier things. [ Hahaha. It finally hit her that she isn't exactly normal. ]

I guess I never told you, but back home I'm actually a deity!

[whatagoodgirl]

A - A deity? You mean like a god?!

[windwalker]

To put it in simpler terms, yes! Is it really that surprising?

You must've been really depowered here, then, huh? I bet that's annoying.

[windwalker]

Yeah, but most of it was destructive anyway. The only thing I guess worth anything is being connected to everyone. [ Chuckling a bit. ]

It really isn't that bad... Being normal.
