[Superboy has not been wasting the time he's been in Asgard in idle contemplation of the grey scenery or in throwing hissy fits about his predicament -- no wait, he did do that. But in addition to wasting his time and throwing the odd super-tantrum, he has also been raiding the Baldr kitchen for junk food, rearranging the furniture for greater capacity to mingle and acquiring a CD deck and some phat tunes. The end result?

[ after her brief and cryptic message to Hope, Hilda had already started to make her way to Gefion Park. the "thing" that she was to give him is cradled in her arms, nestled into a warm blanket. keeping it out here in the cold probably wasn't a good idea after all... it needed proper incubation, but the blanket would be a good substitute until the tradeoff.

she arrives at the entrance of the park, opting to sit on one of the benches to wait for her friend. he should be here any minute now! ]

[This is the catch-all mingle for the entirety of the event! It's easier to have a lot of two-or-three character threads than a few 20-character ones, so use this like a mingle log. What: It's a certain somebody's birthday and so someone wants to be a gentleman and do something for her obv. p much another not!date.

[shortly after sending the anonymous message to hilda's bracelet does it really start. he may have prepared just a bit for this day. and as the message states, it's a special surprise for a special day. hilda's birthday to be exact. (it's a bit confusing getting use to days here, but he got the hang of it.) in a way, this was also a show of gratitude, appreciation for all her help here in asgards.

anyways, he prepared a good range of food for lunch along with something sweet for dessert. yes he can cook. he may not be an expert like his mother, but he learned and helped her for meals at home. it made it easy for when traveling to know a thing or two with cooking. besides, it seemed more appropriate to make something rather than go out to a restaurant. so with the picnic laid out on a blanket, under a nice tree and good view of the park.. oh and Zekrom laying nearby if to give his greeting to when the girl arrived.

..okay, only now as he's waiting does he feel a tad nervous. hopefully this will go.. well, good, and not terribly.]
