What: Right what it says on the tin: an open log at the Pokemon-themed cafe, Poketopia! There's gonna be a seperate thread for new workers, but otherwise you can go crazy. Order food! Check out the cute girls in maid outfits! All that jazz. If you're interested in applying OR want to see the menu, the cafe info/signup post is here!

"Welcome to Poketopia!"
 

[ those are the first words that your character will hear upon entering the red and white-decked cafe interior. the smell of baked goods has filled the air, and bustling male and female workers are busy waiting on tables and rushing back to the kitchen for new orders.

on the windowstills, flower pots have berry plants growing in them. cards are next to the plots, giving the names of the berries and their flavours. feel free to try one -- just stay away from the spicy berries, unless you want to breathe some fire.

don't feel as hungry as you thought? relax and kick back in the lounge portion of the cafe. you won't be able to order food, but our waiters and waitress will happily get you something to drink. but if you do feel like eating something, take a seat! your server will be with you momentarily with our full menu. ]

[She's become curious about Pokemon since her talk with Jasmine, so she thought she'd visit the new cafe. She knows that everyone is busy working, but she's hoping she might get to talk to someone who knows more about them.

And grab a drink while she's there, because you don't just walk into a business and not order anything.]

I didn't expect to see you here at all, actually. [ Laughing a bit. Of course, Yifei bought... a bunch of things because everything is cute--she needs everything. ]

[Seeing as she's acquainted with Hilda, Himari had also become curious about Pokémon and had decided to come visit the new cafe herself. Not too long after entering and taking in all of the decorations, she spots Nakama and decides to approach her, slightly more quiet than usual out of consideration for the setting they were in.]

Ah, Nakama-chan! It's good to see you.

[ Maybe Red is serving you! Probably you're ordering something, asking for recommendations, or just want to see the Pikachu hoisted on his shoulder close up. He's up for pets and everything--by that, I meant Pikachu.

Maybe you just caught him on break outside, inside, somewhere. Either way, he doesn't have his hat on (along with probably the rest of the trainers) and he totally feels naked without it. At least the white and red uniform is pretty cool because, y'know, red is the best color. Pikachu also has a bow tie for reasons.

Go ahead and bother him however you want. ]

[ Just like she promised, Hanako came to look around and get something to eat after spending most of the day in the library taking notes about the Traveller Festival project. She's working hard just as much as she did for Arbor Day, if not more, and she has to remind herself that she should eat at least once a day.

Some time later, she'll notice the berries sitting at the windowstill. Though she won't touch them for fear of doing some kind of crime, you can spot her as she stares at them in wonder, reading the cards over and over. ]

[ so this is the girl Dawn knew... huh. she's cute, but quiet. as the owner of this fine establishment, she has to make sure that everyone is having fun! and frankly, this girl does not look like she's having fun.

so she'll hop on over and pick a Pecha Berry from one of the plants, giving it a toss in the air as she looks over to Hanako. ]

You can eat these, you know. Totally safe for human consumption.

But now she's on break after making all that food, sitting at a table far away, most likely in a corner. Phew. She's beat.

Ah, maybe she should have made something for herself before sitting herself down. Oh well... She doesn't move from her chair. Sob.]

Lucas takes a seat, any old seat really, and reaches up to take off that chef hat. He goes to wipe his forehead with his arm, feeling tired already. It's a lot tougher than he remembers to bake, really. He used to do it all the time back in Sinnoh, preparing poffins and the like. It's not... particularly difficult, it's just a lot to do for a cafe now.

Man, looking at all those server outfits though.... it reminds him of when he went into a Pokemon Contest, he had to put on a tuxedo and everything.]
