What: Right what it says on the tin: an open log at the Pokemon-themed cafe, Poketopia! There's gonna be a seperate thread for new workers, but otherwise you can go crazy. Order food! Check out the cute girls in maid outfits! All that jazz. If you're interested in applying OR want to see the menu, the cafe info/signup post is here!

[ those are the first words that your character will hear upon entering the red and white-decked cafe interior. the smell of baked goods has filled the air, and bustling male and female workers are busy waiting on tables and rushing back to the kitchen for new orders.

on the windowstills, flower pots have berry plants growing in them. cards are next to the plots, giving the names of the berries and their flavours. feel free to try one -- just stay away from the spicy berries, unless you want to breathe some fire.

don't feel as hungry as you thought? relax and kick back in the lounge portion of the cafe. you won't be able to order food, but our waiters and waitress will happily get you something to drink. but if you do feel like eating something, take a seat! your server will be with you momentarily with our full menu. ]

Yes, and she was here for a time, but went home...I met her before she won the Mineral Badge when she helped with Amphy, so it's a shame I couldn't meet with her...

Weird? What do you mean? Maybe you just missed her, then, when you came to get your badge.

Ahh... It's just that I'm pretty sure I was the Champion, last time I checked. And I remember Amphy. [ SCRATCHES HIS HEAD AWKWARDLY... ]

[ There's an even more awkward pause. ] Oh...uh...

What did you say your name was?

Ethan...!

[ironclad]

Ethan? [ She doesn't want to say she doesn't recognise him. But he seems so earnest about it, and it's making her deeply worried. ]

Well...hello again, Ethan.

[ ahh.. phew!! ]

How long have you been here?

More than a month, certainly...about a month and a half. I take it you're new, however...?

Yeah, it's only been a couple of weeks!
