Nothing concrete as of yet outside of ... simply a shroud of darkness overcoming the Natives.

[ It's certainly magical in nature, but so is nearly everything in Asgard. This conclusion resolves nothing. ]

It is believed that it will eventually spread to the Travelers as well, however.

If the threat is to elevate, I want to round up the others and see that we track its progress firsthand so that we might better anticipate the worst of it. We've already determined its weakness to light; perhaps we might find another method of subduing them.

What lights do we have to carry with us?

We've [ He pulls his flashlight from his belt, setting it on a nearby table. ] a near dozen of these flash-lights, as I'm told they're called, as well as a few larger ones called torches even though they've no flames to them and the flood-lights out front, even though there is no flood.

[ Yeah, Arthur doesn't get it, but it's more electrical shit. He won't question, and his extraneous commentary is mostly under his exasperated breath, not intentional for the King. ]

[Well, Uther still hears them. Still, he merely gives Arthur a bit of a look for that before he grabs the flashlight and inspects it.]

I couldn't say, precisely. I still don't quite understand the technology of this world, but as far as I know, the electricity is stored within it somehow to power the light without a -

[ He waves his hand, trying to bring the word to mind. ]

There's a switch -

[ He moves to still his father's hands and flip the little switch up, casting the light onto his chest. ]

- here. Push it up, and the light turns on; push it down and it turns off.

[ Nice and simple, just the way Arthur likes it. ]

I was almost expecting it to be more complicated.
