What: Lilly is gone. Hanako doesn't take it very well, and tries to cope with the loss by going to the places she likes.

[ A - Gefion Park ]

[ It was nothing short of a horrible week for Hanako, just like it was probably for most people. But what hurt her the most was the notice that her best friend Lilly was missing from her room. One morning she headed there as usual to help her get ready for breakfast, and all her things, along with her own person, were nowhere to be found. The "Contact Not Found" sign on her bracelet was the ultimate confirmation that Lilly was no longer in Asgard. It hit Hanako harder than it should have, considering that now she's sure her friend was safe from the danger that lies here. Her company, although short-living, did help her emotionally during the Darkness attacks. She would have possibly broken down otherwise.

She's going to spend most of the morning in the park, sitting on the grass by the lake. Nashi's been left in the House. Hanako wanted to be alone while brooding. It doesn't look like she had a great sleep lately, either, looking at the clear bags under her eyes. ]

[ B - Great Library ]

[ Towards the afternoon, Hanako can be found at the library, sitting on her usual beanbag and mindlessly flipping through the pages of a random book she picked up. She's not reading it, though... her mind is wandering to other, unpleasant places where it shouldn't be. Not even her most favourite hobby is helping her. ]

The title is... Nightlight. Um, it's actually a series of four novels written by someone who's apparently popular here...

Uh... no. That's only the title. It's a fantasy romance story centered around a human girl and a vampire.

So.. the girl falls in love with the vampire guy, or something like that? There's a whole series about that?

It goes more in depth about their relationship. It is not as linear as you may think. [ and then there are werewolves, dude. WEREWOLVES. ]

There are plenty of them through the books. Especially the third book has a particularly long and intense one.

Uh.. [ She's not too good with starting to read something and staying invested, but.. on the other hand, it might make Hanako happy too, right? The least she can do is try. ]

There are copies available for borrowing, here... and in case they're not, I guess they can also be bought in the book shop. But I could lend you my books just in case...

You sure you want to lend those to me? I mean-- I'd be careful, but you never know what could happen to them! [ asahi is at least self aware enough to realise this, okay. ] I wouldn't want to dirty your favourite books.

... Do you tend to dirty books? [ What do you do to them... ]

Not usually! But sometimes I'm reading one while I'm eating and then something falls off it and I'm like 'oh, crap!!' and then I try to take it off but instead the book only gets more dirty the more I try!

.. But doesn't that happen to everyone?

Usually, people don't... eat while reading a book. [ There's the NO EATING IN LIBRARIES rule for a reason. She thought it was common sense, but do people really do that often? ]

Huh, really? [ is it.. really.. that weird.. she doesn't get it!! ] I thought people did that all the time! It's just like those old people who read newspapers at breakfast!
