Where: practice room in the Arena

"Right!" Merlin said, perhaps a little too brightly, as he clasped his hands in front of himself--to hide his nervousness as he called attention to himself. "Looks like you're all here now, so let's begin."
He gestured vaguely around the room. "Since we've got one of the bigger practice rooms to ourselves for this entire afternoon, you'll have plenty of space to work."
A pause followed that statement, as well as a puzzled frown. "I'm forgetting something..." Merlin said under his breath, digging a scrap of parchment from his pocket. "Oh--yeah! You don't need to come up with something by the end of today, but it'd be great if you could share what you've learned by the next meeting. Remember, this is all about experimenting. Don't feel bad if you don't get results right away.
All right? You can start now!"
