[As alluded to in his last post, Watson's organized a night of First Aid Instruction open to all interested parties. A brief introduction of the Clinic Staff in attendance is the beginning of procedings, followed by a brief outline by Watson of their topic for that evening -- the basic rules of administering first aid, in particular assessing the needs of a patient and how to procede with or without magical healing ability. After the talk, attendees break into small groups to practice what they have learnt in by simulating treating a patient, applying bandages or discussing in detail the application of their magical abilities. Finally, a light supper of tea, scones and sandwiches is served.]

I think this is a good idea, though. Things always get hectic whenever... um, things happen. [Like attacks.] So if more people know how to use first aid, we can save even more people.

Indeed. And giving people the knowledge to help them when that crisis comes will help them even further.

By enabling our healers to use their powers more effectively, we hope to help them to help more people and better understand how to not overtax themselves in the process.

Oh-! That's true. I usually just use my Power right away, but if we use medicine instead...

In a situation with many patients, reserve magical healing for those that are most in need, or if the situation is very dire, heal only to the point where they are out of danger and then apply non-magical methods. That way, we can make sure that your power is implemented to its best effect.

Right. And if there are other healers there, we can work together to heal the more serious injuries.

Indeed. In fact it would be most effective for healers to work in pairs or with an energy lender.

I've worked with Hisao-san before... Maybe we should keep working together like that?

Hisao-san? He is level-headed -- yes, the two of you would make an effective pair. If we could find someone with Power Boosting to support you two, that'd be even better.

We both have level two healing, too! We could probably help out a lot of people if we worked together.
