Who: Merlin and YOU
What: Coming home to something rather unexpected. Also dragons.
When: Day 163, Afternoon
Where: Everywhere!
Rating: PG
Scenario A (New Camelot)
[Lugging back all of the things they'd gotten from Utgard isn't easy, but years of being Arthur's pack-mule has done wonders for Merlin's ability to handle and balance great loads. Of course, none of that exactly matters when the two, small forms that zoom out of his and Arthur's room and collide right into him.
Merlin's pretty certain one of them is Archimedes--he recognises the indignant screeches--but he doesn't have much time to ponder the identity of the second culprit before he goes tumbling to the floor with a yelp, scattering the packages every which way.]
Scenario B (All districts)
[Now that Merlin's figured out what his newest charge is--though not where she came from--Merlin's resigned himself to figuring out what, exactly, he's supposed to do with her. Unfortunately for him, the "short trip" around the city is nowhere near as easy and relaxed as he would have hoped.
For most of the afternoon, Merlin can be found in any of the districts, chasing after a wayward dragon when she goes swooping off to explore or wandering from shop to shop, letting the dragon sample a little of everything.]

but seriously though&mash;arthur? surely he means king arthur and rose makes a mental note to herself to keep an eye out for him because really now. ]
Does that happen often, dragons appearing in rooms?
[ totally not touching that "new friend" thing right now because oi, she was here first, and though it stings a bit to know that the doctor hasn't even mentioned her, rose really wants to make a good impression on merlin right now. ]

Since Rose pretty much took charge of the whole appearance thing, he'll just focus on that other bit himself because. Well. It is important to mark that Rose is far from new, despite him not talking about her. Because that's his own problem, his own issues, and has nothing to do with her. ]
No, no, not new. I just haven't seen her in a while. This is Rose.

[Merlin pulls himself out of his musings enough to offer her a smile.] Welcome back, then? I'm Merlin--but you already knew that.

Thanks. Still gettin' used to this place, but other than the obvious it doesn't seem too bad.
[ a moment's pause, and then she tips her head toward merlin. ]
Sorry about your friend, though.

[ He tries putting his hand on Aithusa's head.
Merlin seems to think that he meant Rose has been here before, but he doesn't bother correcting him. What's really the point? ]
