[Chie's exploring the Thor district when the weather suddenly changes; that alone worries her, but the heralding of the dragon a while later makes her get up and get going. she doesn't choose to actively follow the dragon just yet; while she does want to help out, she's got more important things to take care of right now. she needs to find out where her friends are first. once she does that, though, she'll definitely do her best to lend to the effort.

despite her goal in mind, if she's caught during her dash toward the Freyr and Freya districts—where the majority of her friends and new acquaintances are located—she'll certainly lend a hand and check in on people she sees along the way. her protective instinct extends to everyone, after all.]

[Look who else happens to be in the Thor district! This spiky, blue dude. He's looking up at the sky with a frown on his face. Sure, he's seen dragons back on Mobius, but this guy is totally different from Dulcy. That's for sure.

He seems to be headed in the same direction for... some reason. In reality, he's planning on looping around the whole area if possible. Still, when he spots her, he'll speak up.]

Yo! Where you headed?

[With everything getting crazy, it never hurts to have backup.]

[it's a good thing Chie got used to Teddie back home, so Sonic's appearance doesn't confuse her so much as surprise her for a bit. she's quickly able to get over it, though; she's not in a situation where she really cares about minor details like that right now.]

I'm going to Freyr and Freya to check on my friends—after that, I'm heading after the dragon. Why do you ask?

[waypastcool]

'Cause it never hurts to have backup!

[Even if Freyr and Freya weren't specific destinations, it'd still be good to get a look and see how everyone's doing.]

Besides, I was thinkin' of tracking down that dragon too.

[wristbands]

Yeah? That's true...

You wanna come with me, then?

[waypastcool]

Might as well! I mean, it sure beats goin' solo.

[At least without his regular speed, anyway.]

[at that answer, Chie can't help but offer a smile and a beckoning wave.]

Well, I've got no problem with that! Welcome aboard!

[deadcenter]

[Spots a little thing in green darting by him-]

Oi Chie!

[bitch better not get herself killed.]

[wristbands]

[she stops in place and turns as she hears the familiar voice, though she's still a little antsy to get a move on.]

Senji-san?

[deadcenter]

[he can tell she's antsy enough...he clicks his tongue.]

With the way you're running through here, you're gonna get yourself killed. There's falling debris everywhere.

[wristbands]

I know—I'll be fine. I'm not reckless; I just have somewhere I really need to be.

[deadcenter]

Oh, and where's that?

[meanwhile some more debris falls from a building near by.]

[wristbands]

[Chie hops out of the way to avoid it, landing pretty gracefully on her feet, for such a sudden reaction.]

The Freyr and Freya districts. I've gotta check on my friends.

[verifies]

[ souji more or less has the same thing in mind, so she'll encounter him somewhere in the way between the freyr and thor districts. upon spotting her he slows down his pace a bit, letting out a small wave. as alarming as this whole scenario has been so far, at least it doesn't seem like anyone has been hurt. not that he's seen yet, anyway. ]

Are you okay?

[wristbands]

Souji-kun—!

[she sighs with relief as she sees him, jogging on over to close the distance between them.]

Yeah, I'm fine. I was actually heading over to check on you and the others. Have you seen Yosuke and Rise-chan?

[verifies]

I saw Rise... she's alright.

[ though he shakes his head a bit at the mention of yosuke. ]

I haven't seen Yosuke... but I'm sure he's fine too.

[wristbands]

Whew, that's a relief... one is better than neither, after all.

Should we try and track him down?

[verifies]

That's a good idea.

[ for all they know he might be... rolling around in a trash can or something. ]

Should we start in the Freya District?

[wristbands]

[it's sad because that's an actual legitimate possibility.]

It'd be as good of a start as any. That's the next district over... this way, right?

[briochetime]

[And here's a Freya acquaintance, rather sootier and crispier than he'd like to be, but otherwise in one piece. He's acquired a sword from somewhere, which he's using to fend off the debris at one of the buildings worse-hit by the attacks.

He may not be terribly fond of the city's spirits, but he can't exactly stand there and watch them in distress and flames. There's a small crowd around him, a couple of them meandering back and forth with buckets.

He seems to be trying to hack the debris away from a collapsed corner of the building -- there's a fair bit coming down from above, but for the moment no one looks to be in immediate danger.]

[wristbands]

[by the time Chie comes around to Freya, she's gotten a shiny new pair of greaves, which is definitely helping her get debris out of the way without injuring herself. she's about to head toward the welcome hall when she sees Allen; the familiar face draws her over.]

Hey—Allen, right?

[briochetime]

[He looks up from what he's doing for a moment, has to wipe a bit of sweat and soot out of his eyes but blinks in recognition soon enough. He's probably a bit of a sight -- usually he's much better put-together than this, but he doesn't seem self-conscious about it.]

Ah... Chie. Of Thor, I believe? [He looks around again when one of the spirits taps his shoulder and shakes his head.] What brings you to Freya?

[wristbands]

Yep! I'm here to check on some of my friends—most of 'em are in Freya, and I wanted to make sure they were okay before I did anything else.

[briochetime]

Which are your friends in Freya?

[He can't say he's seen all that many from his House about, but perhaps he can help look out for them.

In the meantime look out, Chie -- those are spirits coming back with buckets and they are now attempting to walk through you. They're not too bright....]

[wristbands]

[she sees that and she quickly hops out of the way. for a while, she thinks about questioning them, but... decides there are more important things to worry about at the moment.]

Well, from home, there's Yosuke and Rise-chan, then Rion, Minako-san, and Takeba-san...
