OPERATION: DRAGON BREATH

This is a catch-all log for people reacting in-person to the whole dragon declaring war on Asgard thing.

Feel free to try to fight him or the fires he leaves or to otherwise panic!

Be careful of burning debris!

Also, please put the general location in your thread starters so people close together can communicate!

Blades hold nothing against it either. [Came his quick reply. Even if the other had been rude there was no time to argue the case in point, stress was common in any large situation--even if it dealt with mythical beasts.]

I would not waste your arrows then, if you are open to suggestions. Who knows when you will need them.

They aren't terribly difficult to craft...

[Still, he's right. It's annoying, though. At least he feels a little better about a regular blade doing nothing. But his scowl deepens when he considers a rather distasteful possibility.]

How has magic fared against it?

You are sadly asking the wrong man about magic. [He exhaled and looked to the other as the beast soared outward over the city.]

Magic is something foreign to me and I'm afraid I'm not too fond of the idea.

[Point in his favour: Gil hates magi]

Magic is, at least, a part of this world, though its practitioners seem to be every bit as cowardly.

[A frown; he really doesn't want to admit to himself that he's stumped for the moment]

[Nor does he--Malik has a pride about him but he's not sure what's happening since information has been scarce. Still--he looked to the other.] Agreed.

Completely. Unfortunately I don't think we have time to discuss this in depth. Though if we make our way through it, perhaps another time. [A glance and a pause with a small bow of his head.]

Best of luck to you.

[He wasn't about to thank him -- Gilgamesh was still far too arrogant for that -- but he behaved enough himself to nod briefly in the man's direction. It was a start, at least.]
