[He watches him go for a moment, before he starts hosing down the fire as well. He found it in his exploration and found a water source close enough for him to be able to use it, and it was more effective to him than a bucket.

He'll wait for Edgeworth's return though.]

[He's fine with the bucket; it wasn't like he would cross several blocks to reach the nearest fire, anyway. Besides, he was keeping close to Odin House.

When he emerges outside again, he promptly douses a different fire, seeing that Atobe already had the first one under control.]

[He narrows his eyes, and his mouth is a set line. This expression clearly says, "Of course I did, why wouldn't I?" and at the same time is an implicit denial of the fact that he indeed let his speculations get the better of him, even for just a while.

After that particular fire goes out, he straightens up, the bucket (empty again) in one hand.]

There are more pressing matters, after all.

More pressing that a dragon, you mean. [Done on this side then.] It doesn't seem like anyone else agrees, ahn~.

For now, the fires are our highest priority. [Until it returns. If it even does.]

At least there is still someone reasonable in this city. [Not that he expects it to return anytime soon.]

Make sure to hydrate yourself. If you feel faint, head inside and look for water.

Yes, of course. [He says this in an I-already-know-that-it's-common-sense tone.

Upon seeing a fire a bit farther away that no one's taking care of, he decides to duck back into the house.]

[He doesn't comment further to that, looking for next closest target. A hose can only stretch for so long after all. Right now wasn't time to talk anyway, not when they can inhale tons of smoke while chitchatting.]

[Hardly. He runs back into the house, but when he returns, he's walking briskly to make sure he doesn't spill the bucket or drop it or anything. The fire is still crackling away happily, so he decides to dampen its spirits. Splash.

When that's done, he takes out a handkerchief and mops his forehead a bit.]

[Done then, as soon as he's certain all the flames are out.]

Do you feel faint at all?

[A shake of the head.]

No.

[Just a little winded.]

Good, I can't have you fainting over this. [A pause.] It looks like the commotion's starting to die down, at least.

I don't plan on fainting anytime, I assure you.
