[Welcome to the city of Asgard. Now that you've woken up and been given your welcome instructions (as per the FAQ), what will you do? There are a good number of other new arrivals being shown to the gates, and for today the plaza that surrounds the castle is open for mingling. You could also head to your Welcome Hall (details here) and meet your Housemates if you'd like. Whatever you decide to do, have fun getting settled into your new home!]

(ooc note: there will be threads below for the plaza and each House. Mingle and get to know your fellow Travellers! This is a continuations post, but by all means feel free to start new threads.)

Sad but true, Miss Grants. [He smiles then, serene and friendly before he glances around them. A soft sigh slips out as he turns to meet her gaze once more.]

Have you had a chance to rest or even eat? Seems like you could do with a bit of both if you don't mind me saying.

Thank you for the concern, but I'm fine. I'm not sure I'm ready to trust this place for food or sleep.

[She crosses her arms, brushing some hair out of her eyes.] It's a very unsettling situation, to be honest. It's very hard to believe..

That it is, though after a day, I'm still here and nothing's changed - aside from a few more arrivals. [He shakes his head and wrinkles his nose a bit.]

Ah, well... as to the food, well, I haven't suffered any adverse effects from it yet and I've had a few simple meals. [And a shrug] Best to keep strength up in order to face anything unexpected that may arise, right?

More keep coming every day too. I wonder when they'll decide they have enough people. [A sigh.]

I'd prefer to cook my own if the opportunity arises. Where did you find food? [She has to admit he has a point but..she hasn't especially considered the needs of staying here long term.]

Each of the Houses has a stocked kitchen. [He chuckles wryly at that and shakes his head.] It stays stocked with the basics staples so there are things there for anyone in the houses to cook, whenever they like, though I've never seen anyone restocking the pantry.

Convenient little trick of theirs, I guess.
