[Welcome to the city of Asgard. Now that you've woken up and been given your welcome instructions (as per the FAQ), what will you do? There are a good number of other new arrivals being shown to the gates, and for today the plaza that surrounds the castle is open for mingling. You could also head to your Welcome Hall (details here) and meet your Housemates if you'd like. Whatever you decide to do, have fun getting settled into your new home!]

[ Kaz will definitely be hanging out here today. After meeting his housemates? He needs the fresh air. He also needs to find someplace in town that sells cigarettes, but for now he'll settle for skulking through the crowd, looking for anything and anyone of interest. ]

[A young girl walks up to a benches not far from the palace entrance and sits down wearily. She pulls her legs up to her chest and clings to a very hideous unique stuffed doll that's almost as big as she is, looking highly upset. Although she's resting for now, her eyes never stop moving, scanning the crowds and searching for someone who's not here.]

[Freyjadour had taken the chance to explore the Plaza soon after checking out Heimdall's welcome hall, and is keen on trying to figure out more about this place.]

[Conan's definitely up for exploring. Criss crossing the plaza or wandering its side streets this tiny detective is determined to see as much as possible of the city and its inhabitants.

The question is whether you spot this small, roving, road hazard.]

[One new arrival is doing a fair imitation of a gargoyle. She'd jumped and climbed her way to a place up high in order to get a better view of the people milling about the plaza. She hasn't yet gone to visit her new accommodations. No, she has something more important to watch for, at least for now. And so she will remain up here for most of the day, and even well into the night.]

[There's a boy that seems to be looking for someone or something. He has green eyes, dark skin and light purple hair and he's wearing bright colored clothes. He's trying to find his dog, but said dog is an albino and difficult to spot in a city mostly gray, black and white.]

A. [Well, here's one Traveller who would seem right at home in the midst of all these maids and castle attendants -- if he, you know, weren't meticulously groomed and garbed head to toe in gold.

Nevertheless, if you're not looking carefully, you would probably miss him; he walks with his head down, out of the way, with the awkward missteps of someone used to walking like he knows where he needs to be but who has lost his schedule today. And if you're looking carefully anyway, you might just spot the wrinkles in his uniform, the tired weight of his posture, maybe even the faint trembling in his wrists held stiffly at his side.

Of course, if you're not looking carefully, that makes two of you -- you might just suddenly find yourself plowed into.]

B. [The front doors of the castle creak open and a small, well-dressed blond Traveller steps out. The door has just started to shut behind him when his eyes widen as the wind whips the hair back form his face -- a second later he's yanked himself halfway back inside again.

And then he's just sort of comically standing there, half-in and half-out and shivering a little. Also looking kind of embarrassed and hoping-no-one-saw-that-like.]

[Naminé lingered one the fringes of the crowd, still and quiet as she watched everyone else. There were more people than she'd seen in her entire life put together just milling about in front of her, and that would have been jarring even if she hadn't already been unsettled by her abrupt arrival in the city. She wanted to ask someone, anyone, if what she'd been told was going on was actually, in fact, what was going on, but she wasn't quite certain where to start or who to ask. Even if she did find someone, would they have an answer? Much better, a truthful one? For the time being, she stayed put, one hand lightly holding on to the bracelet that still felt strange around her wrist. Those who were observant (or just happened to look at the right time) might have caught her staring.]

[ ...okay, then. he's got his letter in one hand, eyes scanning over it for maybe the millionth time, and he keeps flicking his wrist; the bracelet with its single deep pink stone is an odd light weight on it, where once he wore a blastia.

eventually Yuri puts away the letter and tugs out the map instead, his eyes flicking over it for points of interest as he comes to a stop at the crossroads. ]

[ Okay, so, now that the initial panic (and frustration) from having been dragged away from home has simmered down, Gohan's just sort of... looking around the plaza, taking in all the architecture. And probably looking incredibly out of place while he did it, given he's still wearing his dad's fighting uniform (http://i.imgur.com/1Uz5R.jpg) and all.. ]

[She has the letter in her fist, a bracelet resting on her glove wrist, and a heaviness to her usual militant stride. Tear is tired. She is very tired of one thing after another happening - but her face looks as blank as could be.]

[The necessary thing is to remain calm. He finds a seat for himself on a bench, placing his briefcase beside him. He was on his way home when he appeared here, and he's still dressed in his suit.

He's already aware that his power is gone, but it's important to him not to become upset about it. He shouldn't be here. He has his work to do, his mother to look after.

He takes slow, deep breaths. Once he's feeling more able, he'll get up and try to obtain more information.]

[There's a little girl crouched down on the ground, with her arms held out and looking like she's focusing really hard on something.

[There's a girl dressed in a pink sweater jacket and a miniskirt, shivering just a little bit, walking out through the castle plaza. She doesn't seem to have anywhere in particular to be going, veering off in slightly circular paths, but she's walking rather quickly nevertheless.

What's slightly curious, maybe, is the upset expression and slight annoyance, with which she's looking at things in the plaza. She's going to kick a bench at some point, trying really to rule out the old dream idea.]

[there is definitely a certain robot tiny wandering around Loki house on this, the first day; not a cabinet in the house (besides, obviously, the ones in the bedrooms above) goes unopened in his exploration and investigation.

he doesn't appear to be looking for anything besides "what's there", and, once his curiosity has been satisfied (or thoroughly confirmed to be dissatisfied and likely to remain so), he only pauses in the kitchen long enough to make himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or two before moving back in to the living room, where he settles down with - a chessboard, looking for all intents and purposes like he's eager to play ... himself.

[Lirael might not have been too sure about this whole place, but she never could put off exploring, so here she is, poking and prodding about her new home. It isn't really very big, is it? Not compared to the housing halls of the Clayr, or the Great Library, but there's enough for her to stick her nose into, at least for now.

She's still wearing her rose-colored surcoat, embroidered with silver keys and golden stars, and she's still wearing her sword and the bandolier across her chest with all seven bells. Just in case. So maybe she's not entirely sure that they don't work here, despite not being able to reach the Charter-- the source of her magic. Maybe they're just for her own peace of mind. But they're not coming off any time soon.]

[It's hard to say what one will see when they look at Mako Nakarai - she's feeling so many things at once that any one single emotion may be visible, or it may be a confused and confusing blend of all of them.

She looks lost, of course, as everyone does. She looks a bit dazed, occasionally holding her hands in front of her face and staring at them or smoothing said hands over her abdomen. She looks so deeply, deeply sad that she will apparently be starting a whole new life without her first, best and only friend, her mother.

Most of all, though, she looks sickly. She hasn't slept or eaten properly in days, and in that diminished state, she was forced to battle a giant robot and save the world. Her pudgy prepubescent cheeks hollowed out with hunger and fatigue, her eyes shadowed with dark rings, she stands in a corner of the living room and watches all of the other new arrivals mill about with apprehension. She doesn't feel strong enough to approach anyone yet; they may not know, but she still fears that they will somehow sense what the others believed - that she is not right, she is inappropriate - and will reject her.]

This young maid is wandering around the Freyr house, wondering what has become of everyone she knew. There was so much going through her mind that she'll bump into a wall or a door and apologize to it at the same time.

It was so different here than in the mansion back home. It intrigued her, yet frightened her at the same time. She would give anything to talk with someone, to at least know she wasn't alone in this place. ]</sub>

[You know... Asgard would be a really cool place to explore but you know... being cold sucks and Selphie is cold. She went to Freya's Hall after being shown the door by Freya's maid. She'd said thank you to the person who'd shown her the way before running off toward the God's home as full tilt to keep warm. She didn't bother to explore anything, she just went running through the districts toward the Godhouses which came into easy view after a little while.

Selphie wraps her hand around the door's handle and pulls the door open to be greeted by a blast of warm air as she steps inside and plops on the floor gulping in deep breaths of air. She begins rubbing her arms to bring some warmth back to them but it's beginning to feel like doing so is going to take an eternity to do so. Blast, the cold and her lack of appropriate clothing.]

[ new arrival or not sena has wasted no time getting to priority items number 1 and 2: the videogame consoles and the large tv. hey baldr housemates i sure hope none of you guys are couch potatoes or gamers because somebody (name starts with s- and ends with -tupid meat) is trying to hog the tv already. at various points during the day sena can be found:

a. painstakingly making a "property of kashiwazaki sena" label in lovely calligraphy. less lovely? the smaller block text under it that reads "STEAL AND I'LL RIP OUT YOUR GUTS AND SHOW THEM TO YOU"
b. sighing over a galge / dating sim game
c. uncomfortably dancing around in the universal body language of someone who needs to go but can't because she doesn't want anyone else to claim her spot
