WELCOME TO ASGARD (part two) [OPEN]

 Who: EVERYONE!
What: Getting introduced to the city
When: Day 1, around noon
Where: The castle plaza and the Welcome Halls
Rating: Worksafe -- If this changes, please inform the mods.

[Welcome to the city of Asgard. Now that you've woken up and been given your welcome instructions (as per the FAQ), what will you do? There are a good number of other new arrivals being shown to the gates, and for today the plaza that surrounds the castle is open for mingling. You could also head to your Welcome Hall (details here) and meet your Housemates if you'd like. Whatever you decide to do, have fun getting settled into your new home!]

(ooc note: there will be threads below for the plaza and each House. Mingle and get to know your fellow Travellers! This is a continuations post, but by all means feel free to start new threads.)

[Freyjadour had taken the chance to explore the Plaza soon after checking out Heimdall's welcome hall, and is keen on trying to figure out more about this place.]

[Walking along the plaza, Turkey was thinking to himself namely after meeting another nation--or at least what they said they happened to be. It was confusing but to think that others existed in the future, it was a little perturbing because he was not certainly sure he wanted to know about the future. His thoughts his own for the moment, he was not really looking where he was going before he bumped softly into the paler haired figure.] Oh--!

Sorry 'bout that, there.

[Frey backs up, smiling apologetically.] No, it's my fault. I should have moved out of the way.

[Allowing a small smile to crawl upon his own features he shook his head with a bow of his head.] Please.

Maybe I was just tryin' t' run into you! Don't take blame for m' fault or possible intention.

....Why would you be trying to run into someone....? [The question isn't accusatory, just curious.]

I'm kiddin' yah. [Came the small laugh that sounded from his lungs.]

No need t' worry, just tryin' to open up for conversation.

Haha, right.

So you just arrived, as well?

[identity profile] turkishly.livejournal.com 2011-12-15 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! Just arrived here, in this strange land--assigned and tagged, apparently. [He lifts up his arm where the bracelet was found.]

Can't say I appreciate it, but all these new faces? How can I push aside the opportunity t' mix and mingle?
falenandawn: (huh?)

These bracelets... we can really communicate with them?

I guess you could look at it that way.

[identity profile] turkishly.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah--at least that's what I've heard! I'm not sayin' I know though, they are way beyond m' understanding right now.

[There is a small sigh.] Never had anything like this where I came from that's for sure.

I haven't tried it yet, myself.

Me either. I'm afraid we have nothing like this back home.

Well if yah learn somethin' about 'em? Let me know--some fella I was talkin' to the other day was talkin' about something called HTML and Google. What the hell's a Google?

[Letting out a huff of breath he gives a dismissive wave of the hand.] We'll learn, I'm sure. Yet, I'm guessin' some people likely know more than us.
