[Leah finds this whole new Asgard to be something of an incredible disappointment. That there should be another isn't surprising; that it should be so radically different and, well, rather subpar, compared to the real thing makes it confusing sometimes. Hel is not Hela. They don't look right, they don't speak right, they don't act right.

If she'd been holding something in her hands when she saw him, she might have dropped it. Breaking Leah's composure is a challenge even Loki rarely cracks, but for once- for once- this is someone she actually recognizes, and he's just out and about as though-

Well, if truth be told, Leah might have expected more destruction.]

[ everything is off and that is more than frustrating. he's heard of odin here, yet it is not his father. it's all the same, but so vastly different that it still makes his heart beat angrily within his chest.

trust that thor would like to rain down nothing but destruction here. if he could, he would. but even with his hammer and the small amount of strength he has, it's not enough. it's not nearly enough. not to say nothing has found it's way to being broken, but substantially less than he would really and truly like.

he hears his name in a voice he doesn't recognize, but turns nonetheless. sight draws forth no memory and for an instant he feels guilt—should he know this child? a small smile upturns thor's lips as he inclines his head to the side. ]

Aye. Was there something you needed, child?

[Oh thank Hela he looks almost perfectly right. Right enough that she'll dismiss any of the details which don't line up. It's more of a relief than it should be, considering that Loki kept her squirreled away in a hole in the ground far from the sight of anyone in Asgardia, because at least- well, at least he's more likely to understand what she's talking about.]

I think it is more like there is something I need to tell you, god of thunder. About your brother.

[ about his brother.

a phrase thor has suddenly grown used to hearing, though he wishes it weren't so. it makes his stomach twist uncomfortably for various different reasons, one of which is most present over the fact that this is a child wish to air grievance. he doesn't like this.

thor's teeth clench, his jaw set straight as he takes a step forward, his voice is lower, filled with concern and confusion and perhaps slowly burning anger. whatever loki has done he will seek the way to right it. ]

What has he done? Speak.

[Leah realizes right away that her manner of speaking about Loki isn't going to do him- or her- or Thor- any favors right now. Of course there are plenty of things she could say to his brother that would paint him in a negative light, but her grievances with Loki, such as they are, are a matter for her alone to settle. Though it would be cruel, and effectively so, to take them to Thor, Leah would prefer to drive in the knife herself, if it came to that.]

I think you misunderstand me. It's not accusations I want to level. More an explanation I think I should offer, given the strangeness of the situation. You no doubt have encountered the other Thor, yes?

[ there really isn't much anyone can say about loki that thor doesn't know. loki is already in a negative light. anything leah has to tell him, wouldn't make thor's opinion of his brother change. or... at the very least, wouldn't make him any less (or more, for that matter) confused than he already is. ]

I have not happened upon him in the flesh—word of him has only reached my ears. As has word of several Lokis. I doubt you may offer a suitable explanation. [ he pauses for a moment, realize the implications of his words. ] Not to shed any misgivings upon your intelligence, my lady. What is it you mean to say?

Don't pay attention to the Lokis that belong to this city.

[She says instantly, with an expression of great distaste. Leah's been here too long; she had given them the benefit of the doubt, that they might be a proper alternate set of gods, but their continued behavior makes her less and less certain with every day.]

I am talking about the small one. The child. Do you recall that?

[ her tone doesn't go unnoticed and, admittedly, that piques his interest. as much as he wants to pry, he doesn't.

It is unwise to not keep attention on any Loki.

[ because they're all huge brats, let's be realistic about this. but wait— ]

A child? [ he shakes his head ] I do not recall. I have been shown a child's visage, but I hold no personal knowledge. Should I?
