It's probably fine either way, because they belong together, really.
He's passing through the Freya district when he sees her. That splash of red hair, that familiar walk, the sense of knowing what you do when you end up in an unfamiliar place, and all the things that scream Amy. His heart leaps with joy and he can't help it; he leaps himself, really, and with an overjoyed "Amy!" barrels down the street to tackle her with the most crushing hug. ]

So she's poking around this 'Freya district" because that's apparently her House now, and that apparently means something important, so that's got to be something she should look at, right?
Seems it's a pretty good choice, what with one of two voices that she's been hanging out to hear announcing his presence shortly before the hug makes her stumble back a few steps. ]
Doctor! Oh, thank Christ you're here, I thought we were stuck.
[ And she's just going to hug him back just as tight, because if anyone can get them out it's him, right? ]

And, then, he puts his hands on both sides of her head and places a good kiss on her forehead.

[ She laughs a little under her breath, but it dies as she looks at him and he's not joking too. They're...actually stuck. Her face falls a little, and she lets out a soft 'oh' before pursing her lips and giving him a short not. ]

But, oh, it's Amy, all right, and he can't stop smiling. His dear Amy. Of course he has to be happy to see her, even with the circumstances. ]

He's here though, her Doctor is here (and some others apparently too but she's going to get to that later) and it's enough to make the rest of it seem a little bit more okay. ]

[ She doesn't even bother trying to keep a straight face through that comment. For a moment she looks a little vague, like she's going to ask more about the city, or the Gods, or any of the usual new arrival questions that get knocked out early.
But then she remembers, she has something far more important to talk to him about. Absolutely vital, really. She can't wait, she has to ask it of him right now... ]

[ Not like they hug all the time or anything, pssh, spare the thought! But he's grinning until she brings up the multiple Doctors thing, and he blinks instead, owlish. ]
Oh. You ran into someone already, then. Rory? Yes, more than one, it's a Time Lord thing. I change bodies when I'm dying, unless that function is out of commission somehow. Regeneration, it's called.
