Kinda? I'm a mutant. [ Even after all this time, being able to talk openly about the topic is still strange.

What about you, though? You're not a human? [ What is he, then? ...One of the deities he mentioned earlier? ]

Mutant...? [After the initial surprise, he starts laughing. This is pretty awesome. All he got in his world were different types of weird myths and fantasy creatures. But an actual person with powers? Ice powers? This is new - and absolutely welcome.

He runs a circle or two around Bobby, still laughing, anger forgotten.]

This is so cool! -oh hey, look, you can actually follow the pun. I- [And there is that question. Bobby isn't the only one feeling weird about this topic. He pauses his running to answer.]

I'm... Jack Frost. [Mentally crossing his fingers - maybe he can avoid the died-and-became-spirit explanation.]

The one and only. [He gives him a very exaggerated bow.] Let's hope they let me keep the name after they did with my powers.

...I'm afraid I can already guess the answer but let's give it a try: did you get to keep yours?

[ He lets out a surprised laugh. This is awesome.

At the question, he shakes his head, smile fading a bit. ]

[Jack groans and rolls his eyes. Not even his pseudo-mutant-cousin was able to do it. Damn.]

I can't believe it! What's wrong with these people! [A sigh.] What did you get instead?

You have telepathy or telekinesis?

[To answer Bobby's question, Jack makes his staff float some centimeters above his hand.]

I used to leave a trail of frost on whatever I touched. [He looks down at his naked feet and wiggles his toes.] Even the floor feels different now. Better get used to it if I have to walk now.
