[ It had worked once before, back in the heat of late summer in Asgard, so Jade was trying it again. She had dragged the sign out to the front of the store, right in the middle of the sidewalk, and written in huge letters:

free hot chocolate! :D
just come inside ♥

The temperature hadn't broken the sixty degree mark today - it was getting chilly fast. Both Orihime and Annabeth were gone, and the store was oddly quiet. Jade will be found keeping herself busy throughout the day with odd little chores when it's completely empty of customers - sweeping, dusting, and occasionally dozing in a booth near the door when the boredom becomes too much to bear. ]

It's a rather terrible thing to add to everything else about this place, considering he should be very, very dead.

Do you think he will be a danger to others, here? [ even if it's Asgard, even if the gods are the ones that control the place most of the times ]

Yeah, he's already trying to get people to side with him. He started immediately.

[And Harry doesn't doubt that he'll be seeking ways to gain power. In fact, he has a feeling he already understands most of the runes.]

[ kaworu nods, taking a sip of his hot chocolate, but he is still smiling ]

But there is something that you have, right? The reassurance that you've defeated him once. That he is not immortal. That he is not capable of everything.

It's reassuring, but ... I'd say it's only that.

[Knowing that he's here and can threaten Harry's parents again is far from a point of comfort. Harry relaxes.]

But maybe I should be glad for that.

Do you have here people from your world that know as well? That fought with you against him?

There are some who fought in a previous war. Though ... my best friend turned up again. Or one of them.

[Harry doesn't count Malfoy, because even if things are changing on that front, he doesn't consider him someone who "fought against Voldemort." He was definitely a victim, but that's something else entirely.]

Then, it's not "only" that. You have much more. [ a lot more than what voldemort has, for sure. ]

I guess, but I don't want to endanger them again, except it seems I already have.

[Harry knows his rashness brought Voldemort's eye to him, even when he could have gone without it.

But what then? It wasn't as if he could tell that Voldemort was younger.]

I understand that. But they don't want you to be in danger, either. You are important to them, thus it's impossible for them to let you face the hardships alone.

[ with kaworu's record on doing whatever the heck he wants without telling anyone, telling this to harry sounds hypocrite. Except the difference is that kaworu honestly doesn't care about himself and believes he has no value whatsoever. Harry, on the other hand, does. ]

It's alright to rely on others. It's impossible to fight battles alone when there are others, even when you try to.

I know, I just—[He swallows uncertainly. But what? He just what? Harry realizes that he doesn't have much to say, nothing that's appropriate, anyway.

He needs to rely on them. Finally, he shakes his head. Kaworu is right.]
