it's okay to be afraid [open]
Who: Clara Oswald + Ensemble (no really, it's open)
What: Post Friendly Fire stuff and things
When: Days 404 & 405
Where: Thor 103 & around
Rating: Probably will keep around PG/PG-13
The feeling of being off was gone, she could feel a tug and then things went back to how they should be, power wise. Unfortunately, the damage to her body was done due to growth working her insides over, and she was still left with hardly any life in her. She remains in her position outside in the gardens of Thor 103, leaning against a tree to keep her sitting upright. As day 404 breaks, she can hear life around her going on, and manages a tired smile. She thinks that if maybe she could get someone's attention, they just might notice her, and a healer would actually be able to help her now. She had been too afraid before, what with the powers going absolutely mad, but now...
Well. Maybe things stand a chance of working out.
Her mouth drops open, and she finds her throat incredibly dry and her lips cracked and pained. She just barely manages a few hoarse calls for help, but she realizes that no one is going to hear her over the sounds of the city getting back to normal, and with a soft sigh she resigns herself to shutting her eyes and drifting off.

[ He smiles gently, reaches to help but when she seems to manage on her own he pulls his hand back. Some. ]
I could take care of the rest.

You had to heal me not that long ago, Doctor.
[Which makes her feel bad, because it means she's getting into way too much danger. Frowning, she looks up at his face, her hand seeking out his to hold.]
But if you think you've got it in you...
[She trails off, her pride and embarrassment at getting into a situation yet again keeping her from outright asking.]

[ He brings her hand up, kisses it her palm, and brings it down with his hands as he presses them to her stomach. Honestly, he would have healed her even if she said no.
He takes a breath, and looks down at his hands as he focuses his power. ]

Sorry if I worried you. Not like I had any control over the fact my power backfired and things grew inside me, but still.
[There's a pause, and she finds herself smiling.]
Were you guarding me again, though?
no subject
That's one way to distract him.
And when she smiles, he has to smile too. ]
Well, yes.

Her smile becomes more fond at his admission, and although she tries to look a little teasing, it falls flat. She is pretty exhausted right now, even with his extra healing help.]
Just like the good old times, then. Right back where we started.
[her eyes glance over to the bedside table.]
Only, we're missing the Jammy Dodgers.

[ He looks at it too. ]
So we are.
I could fix that, if you like. And tea.
no subject
[He's taking care of her and is being really sweet, so she'll go ahead and take full advantage of that and get some tea and biscuits.]
It's a bit hard to believe I'm actually still alive. Might as well celebrate it with tea and your favorite treat.

[ He hops back up. ]
I will be right back.

[She calls out after him, and lays back to make herself comfortable. She finds herself dozing off, but stirs and wakes back up once she hears him returning. She holds out her hand to him, fingers waggling as a silent request for the sweets.]
no subject
There.
[ And then he snags one for himself, of course. ]
