Who: Kimberly and Sansa
What: Shopping and hanging out
When: Days 404
Where: Freya most likely, possibly the neighboring districts if the mood tags
Rating: TBD, but probably no higher than pg 13
[So a day of R&R still didn't take her up to full pare, between the message of the ruins, everyone's power going haywire -and just being in this crazy city period, Kimberly was going to have a day to do some shopping whether people liked it or not. She had a job, she could afford to, and it was a fun chance to get Sansa to explore some more modern fashions.
She still did some working out of course, point being not to slack off, but after a shower, change into some fresh clothes, and breakfast, she was as ready as she would ever be.
"Hey, Sansa..you ready?"

[Sansa tries on the dress and looks in the mirror. With the skirt shorter than she's used to, her legs look a lot longer. She blushes a bit and self-consciously walks out of the dressing room.]
It is pretty, but very different than what I'm used to...
no subject
[She said it so non chalantly, like it could happen to any girl.]
[She looked at the dress again, thinking.] Yeah, looks much better. I think you'll feel a little better about if if you pair it with some black tights.
[She could tell when someone was a little uncomfortable and she did have to give Sansa kudos for going out of her comfort zone.]
no subject
[Sansa blushes a bit.] You think I should buy it?
no subject
Honestly, I thought it was crazy at first. [She went back into dressing room to change into her regular clothes.] I was into fashion and gymnastics, hardly the sort to get into saving the world sort of deal, but then I saw how serious the enemy was and with my friends backing me up-how could I say no.
no subject
Were you scared when you knew what you were facing?
no subject
[Her question actually made her blush a little. Not really, not at first. When we summoned the power, I just got this instant rush and felt so strong and powerful than normal. Our first fight was rough but at the same time it didn't really register with me to be scared. Some of the fights are scary, especially when it's just me and the monster, but my friends and mentor count on me to be a ranger and that means not giving up.
[They were a team after all-she's not sure if she could be one if it wasn't for them. Not really.]
no subject
I wish I could be as brave and feel powerful like you.
no subject
Well, the power doesn't work here, so I guess we're even for that. [She thought back to what Sansa told her about her own world, wondered if she could go through what she did without getting herself killed.] Maybe there's more than one sort of bravery. After all, I was told that being brave has nothing to do with being fearless, but it's being afraid and not buckling under it.
[She quickly pulled out the jacket and held it up.] What'd you think? Might be too severe for me, but it'd look awesome for you when we get your hair back to its real color.
no subject
[She looks at the jacket questioningly.] You think? What should I wear it with?
no subject
[She gave it to her to try.] With whatever you feel like wearing. It's a classic investment piece so you could wear it to sharpen up a simple dress or blouse and skirt-or a blouse and pants if you're feeling adventurous. [She gave her a playful nudge.] White's a neutral color so it goes well with everything.
no subject
Ohhh... [She takes the jacket and looks at it.] White is one of the Stark colors... I should indeed try it.
no subject
[Alright, she over heard one of them saying that they went to meet girls, but that still meant they had to go through the tests and she could see that they were trying, that was the main thing.]
[She nodded at her suggestion. Go on, then we can move onto the next store if you want.
no subject
[That's sort of a good life lesson, right?]
Alright, thank you. [And she goes to try the jacket.]
no subject
[Yet another good life lesson.]
[She waits as for her to try on the jacket and whatever else she'd like, also looking through a few jackets for herself-wishful thinking for warmer weather that permitted jackets.
no subject
[Yay?
Sansa shows Kim the jacket.] What do you think?
no subject
[She took the dress she picked out as well as Sansa's own selections and headed to the register.] So after this, you want to see if we can find a place to get your hair colored, or should we browse another shop first?
no subject
[Sansa follows the other girl.] Maybe we could see about my hair?
no subject
She nods and pays for the clothes, working a deal with the clerk on a discount because this is Sansa's first time trying on modern clothing. It's normally not done back home, but it's done here and she's willing to milk it for all its worth-she's able to talk them down to a 25 percent discount.]
Sure, lets see about making an appoint. [She hands Sansa the bag with her dress and jacket and heads with her out the door of the shop and towards the salon.]
no subject
Sansa blushes just a bit when Kim pays. She'll think of something nice to do for her.]
Oh, yes. Is that how it works here?
no subject
[Hey, that's why they were here in the first place after all. Might as well get in some good deals.]
[She finds them to a hair salon, but it looks fairly busy. This usually means that the stylists know what they're doing, but it could mean a wait. When she steps inside to ask about getting an all color job for Sansa, there's about a forty-five minute wait.] You alright waiting? Or shall we try some place else?
no subject
[The younger girl follows, peeking inside with Kim.] Is 45 minutes too long?
no subject
[She turned to take a look outside, before talking with the lady at the desk.] You mind if we head across the street while we wait? [The faceless lady nodded.] It's for Sansa.
[She turns.] Lets go for smoothies then, we've time.
no subject
That sounds good. Smoothies... are they to be eaten or drunk?
no subject
[Her mom's an art dealer after all. She has to be able to pick the value of a piece or not at the right price and that comes with experience.]
They're to be drunk. It's mostly fruit blended with ice, but some recipes call for vegetables like carrots or spinach and just hide the taste.
[The place they find is small, with a few booths and bar area right by where the drinks are made. Along with smoothies are also milkshakes, frozen yogurt with toppings, and a counter with some baked goods.] Most of these places, you order at the bar and just take your drink with you.
no subject
Ohhh... That sounds like an interesting drink.
[Though instead, she looks with curiosity at the frozen yogurt.]
